Draught @ Den Tatoverede Enke, Cph: Pale yellow coloured. Unclear. Dense off white head. Smoky, bananadense, yeasty and light spiced aroma. Flavour is a totally letdown after that aroma. Is light watery and light spiced. With some archaeological skills you might find some citric and yeasty notes, but they are vague. Fruity in the end, but dies rather quickly.

pilsnerrogge (2945) - Finspång, SWEDEN - MAY 29, 2005
Pale, somewhat hazy yellow colour. Typical huge weissbier-head. Light banana-aroma with notes of yeast. Sourish citrus-flavour with notes of cloves and yeast. Thin and watery.

bark (255) - Linköping, SWEDEN - MAY 14, 2005
Bottle. The colour is yellow-orange; the liquid is cloudy. The large head is white and compact.

The smell is fruity with a notorious sour note of wheat bread and sweet apples.

The taste is very fresh, with just the right body – not watery, nor overwhelming. The first earthy note is replaced by a sour fresh flavour that develops into a sweet note of sour apples and even some white loaf. The aftertaste got a long creamy and balanced taste of dry apples and even some pineapples.

The carbonation is good vith a lot of small bubbles.

Overall, this is a fine Weissbier!

Emil (6065) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAY 5, 2005
Draught. I like weissbier, but this is not a good one. Pale hazy golden colour with a big white head. Wheaty citrus banana aroma and a sweet citrus caramel fruity light banana taste. Medium body and a sweet finish.

sayravai (4710) - Helsinki, FINLAND - APR 17, 2005
(Bottled, 5.2% ABV) Opaque yellow-orange with a medium, bright white, lacy head. Quite strong sweetish, banana-wheaty aroma. Slightly sour, very fruity banana flavor. Medium-bodied palate with balanced, foamy carbonation. Not very thick for a hefeweizen, but not quite watery, either. A quite pleasant, light and very drinkable, not very memorable weizen.

larsniclas (7068) - Billdal, SWEDEN - APR 17, 2005

TBone (17524) - Pori, FINLAND - APR 7, 2005
Draught with name "Weissbier Hell", alc. 5.2%
Hazy lemon yellow, creamy white head, lace. Nose has yeast, lemon and some banana. Crisp, quite light-bodied. Carbonation attacks in the beginning. Starts lemony and sour, finish is lemon mixed with banana. Refreshing, a bit too carbonated.
