TheBeerGod (6224) - Newport News, Virginia, USA - APR 29, 2006
Bottle at Delirium Cafe’s winter beer "clearance". Amber body. Small white head. Nose is grassy and very malty with notes of whole grain bread. Taste is bready, malty with light caramel, grass and a hint of iced tea. Body is medium with a light carbonation feel. Finishes with more malt notes, breadiness, light grassy notes and caramel.

BeerViking (4787) - Brentford, Greater London, ENGLAND - APR 22, 2013
Bottle, pours amber-brown with a big fluffy but fast-settling head. An amber lager with that burnt caramel note that seems to be traditional with many (thought not all) German winterbiers now, the nose has toffee and faint hints of peach, the body is too gassy but otherwise farly full, with toffee malt notes, that burnt edge and a light but noticeable hoppy bitterness. Like a sweet and roasty bottled English bitter, unsophisticated but quaffable.

DanielBrown (4502) - Birmingham (via Leicester), West Midlands, ENGLAND - DEC 20, 2003
Bottle, at the Frankfurt Xmas Pub, Birmingham. Copper colour, with a loose, long lasting head. Quite a metallic flavour to this one, with a fast-fading dry aftertaste, and a smoothish watery beginning. This is not the most outstanding beer in the world, it's a little bit bland, ending up somewhere in between a Vienna, a Oktoberfest, and a Pils.

rickgordon (3878) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - DEC 12, 2003
Bottled. Amber colour. Faint aroma of...lager. Leatherish flavour with a yeasty top fermented impression. Fresh with only a slight bitterness.

Marsiblursi (3076) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - JAN 23, 2007
(Draught) Pours amber. A bit creamy malt aroma with some caramel and fudge tones. Tiny undertones of spices and some fruits , lemon and orange both in the nose and taste. Malty flavour with with some fudge and caramel. Hints of hops and a light bitterness. Small body.

Embrouille (2853) - SWITZERLAND - MAR 22, 2010
Bottled 50cl. Courtesy of pivnizub. Fennel is extremely present in the nose. Honey, caramel, fennel and butter in the taste. Marmite sneaking in. This bottle is possibly not in a perfect shape. I didn’t enjoy this beer. Thanks a lot pivnizub!

Dragonblaze99 (353) - Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 1, 2002
A strong lager with not much character to it. Rather tasteless, but will get you drunk fast.
