Medium off-white head over (cold)-hazed, orange-golden beer. Sourish nose, pickles-like, greenery and lightly coloured malts. Thankfully less sourish in the mouth, pretty malty, bit toasted, but also oxydized malts; also a chlorine touch, but that sounds worse than it tasted. BIt unripe strawberry in the finish. Medium bodied at best, very carbonated MF. One thing: it’s way less sweet than other Martin’s products. But that is more or less the best thing I can say about this. fonefan (52351) - VestJylland, DENMARK - FEB 25, 2010
Bottle 75cl @ 15e Kerstbierfestival 2009, Essen, Belgium.thebeertourist (5188) - Oslo, NORWAY - DEC 14, 2009
Clear medium amber orange color with a average to large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, hay, toasted, fruit acidic, light to moderate hoppy, moderate yeasty, fruity. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, dry. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
From bottle at 15e Kerstbierfestival, Essen. Deep golden, small head. Malty and spicy aroma. Alcoholic and spicy malts flavours. Well-carbonated. Not bad, but could be more exciting. yespr (48917) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - DEC 12, 2009
