Bottle @ Kelly’s Pub, Antwerp. Pours a nice bubbly copper with a small creamy, staying and a little dirty white head. Aroma has caramel and a spicy hoppy edge to it. Flavour begins of very caramelly sweet before turning quite dry and flowery hoppy. Good brew!

Curiosamente soddisfacente._________ENGLISH TEXT HERE________Would you swear that John Martin made a pretty decent brew? This pale ale lacks of hops and would deserve more body, but anyway is a very pleasant experience: its sweetness is not synthetic, it evokes honey, cherries, red fruits and goes a little adstringent in the finale with a citrus note (the sourness is very low, instead). Curiously satisfying.

In short, a beer that lives up to the commercial description. The look and smell are both very appealing, with a very sweet overtone. The flavor is fantasic, with a nice mix of honey and hops. The finish was somewhat bitter, but not unusal for this style. In the end this was enjoyable beer and no doubt fantastic off the tap. Cheers.

Miksu (5053) - Jyväskylä, FINLAND - SEP 1, 2007
0.33 l bottle (5.8 %). Copper to amber color. Sweet, worty, toffeish, caramelly and candyish aroma with notes of orange and english hops. The malty sweetness and light hoppiness continues in the flavor along with bisquity notes.

Bullit (4569) - Burgos, SPAIN - AUG 25, 2007
Clear yellow colour, small white head. Aroma is of pine hops with some fruits. Flavour is fruity, of pine. Lacks complexity, but at least its not too dry and bitter.

Brix (660) - DENMARK - AUG 17, 2007
Tasted 2007-07-22. Fresh bottle, 33cl. Pours clear, yellow with light head. Notes of yest and hops. Not overwhelming, but nice and fresh. It comes off as a mix between pilsner and pale ale - a bit weak!

Jerre (3306) - Waregem, BELGIUM - AUG 12, 2007
Bottle, 33 cl. Clear amber color, with medium white head. Aroma much malts, hops, little fruity touch. Medium bodied. Tatse nice, easy drinking Pale Ale, dry hops, good bitterness, and a bit sweet dry end. A commercial but not bad brew beer.

Spontanious Fermentation weekend, but in the resturant before it opened. Notes say: Nose, grassy, hints of spice. Citrusy, spicey, really drinkable, really hoppy esb basicly.
