33 cl bottle from Bieropholie, served at cellar temperature in a tulip glass. FE16/08.Brouwser (119) - gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - FEB 17, 2008
App.: Medium-amber, clear, moderate off-white head.
Aroma: Grain and loads of apple juice, both old and new, a touch of spice (maybe?), some sticky toffee; hops is conspicuously absent.
Palate: Medium body and effervescence.
Flav.: Lots of old apple juice and apple cider, some toffee, a bit of spice, a little wood and cardboard; an odd sweet/bitter finish.
Horrific. And boring.

Moderate bitter flavor. Oily palate. Slayer85 (1051) - Firenze, ITALY - JAN 9, 2008
Bottled (5,8% ABV). A clear dark golden/amber beer with a medium sized and fading white head. Not powerful aroma that however has some aromatic and grassy hops. I like more the flavour that has some caramel notes and then the hops. Medium body, lively carbonation, medium bitterness in the finish. I agree with those who say that this beer has some resemblance of a Pilsner. Enough pleasant. downender (9053) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - DEC 29, 2007
330ml bottle. Pale amber coloured with a slight head. Aroma of grassy hops with some sweet malts. The flavour began with some honey and citrus before a hoppy, dry finish. Good.

Warm amber with a nice and lasting head. The flavour is very complex with notes of malts, hops and fruit. The bitterness is moderate, but it grows and develops further in the finish. ohad (16) - ISRAEL - DEC 8, 2007
33cl bottle, 5.8%, made in Belgium, in the trademark glass. the aroma is sweet with hops and a sent of oranges. the color is great pale amber. very nice thick off white head. a unique bubble layer coats the bottom of the glass, with a pillar rising in the middle due to the engraving on the base, the bitterness engulfs the entire mouth very pleasantly, with brilliantly balanced malt sweetness and flavour. only draw back: the after taste bitterness is unpleasant. texture is a bit thick and sticky, in a good way. average carbonation in the mouth.
A Great Beer!!! one of my favorites. Beershine (5253) - VANCOUVER, British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 27, 2007
A welcome change of pace but is an unexceptional beer overall. Caramel, metal and candy sugar in the nose. Has English pale ale flavor qualities and is balanced. Scauca (490) - Lovere, ITALY - OCT 22, 2007
UPDATED: FEB 17, 2008 I must say that, when fresh on tap, this is quite an amazing industrial beer. Dry-hopping gives a very good "golding" aroma, well balanced with nice sweet malts. Alcohol is well hidden in mouth, just a bit warming. The flavour is balanced of good malts and a crisp dry hop bitterness. mazfln (116) - Florianópolis, BRAZIL - OCT 4, 2007
Amber color with normal head. Nice traditional pale ale aroma, balanced between malt sweetness and hops. Nice malty flavours, not very hopy but they’re there. Some spicy finish. A nice beer overall.
