Tasted 2007-07-22. Fresh bottle, 33cl. Pours clear, yellow with light head. Notes of yest and hops. Not overwhelming, but nice and fresh. It comes off as a mix between pilsner and pale ale - a bit weak! Jerre (3771) - Waregem, BELGIUM - AUG 12, 2007

UPDATED: JAN 29, 2008 33 cl bottle - 5,8%. Brown color, nice and big off-white head. Aroma is hops and sweet malt. Flavor is sweet malt and caramel, nice bitter aftertaste. JoeinDahlem (1584) - Berlin, GERMANY - MAY 22, 2007
Nice amber color with white head that sticks to the glass. Sweetish aroma of wet straw and grainy bread. Flavor starts with a bit of honey before the mildly bitter tang of hops kicks in, but that turns the corner into a drop of caramel-sugar on the back end. Lively mouthfeel, nice for a pale ale but typical for a Belgian. Somewhat wet. A refreshing beer that’s a step too far on the sweet side to be good for session drinking. But that nice kick of hops saves it from being boring. I deem it a good beer. joergen (28771) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAY 21, 2007

Bottle at home. Skunky and sweet smell. Really pleasant and drinkable ale. Nice bite to it. Quite carbonated. Skunky finish. Foam lasts quite a long time. Name is classic. Quite liked this one.
