Exceptionally clear dark amber body. Fruity malt aroma. Sweet and syrupy, with some toffee-apple-like fruitiness. Mildly hoppy at the end. Attractive but a little dull and cloying. Way too sweet for the style and for me.

darker amber, light brown coloured with a creamy white head and some light carbonation. Sweet fruity and malty aroma. Full body. Finish is sweet bitter with some herby touches. Good one.

Light brown in color with a light brown creamy head. Sweet grassy pungent smell. Sour initial flavor gave way to a sweet malt.

Bottled dated 20/05/06 expiration. This one poured a nice amber color with a decent head and some good lacing. The aroma was definitely hoppy, but enjoyable after a run of Belgian beers. A mildly grapefruit malty base (may be my first English pale ale with that aspect) was accompanied by a nice (not too strong) hoppy finish of pine trees and flowers. Very drinkable and enjoyable.

Bottle. Clear amber with a big white head. Malty aroma. Flavours are rather more bitter though well-balanced by sweet maltiness with hints of pepper. Not bad.

Skinnyviking (9806) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAY 26, 2006
Bottle. Small white but lasting head. Clear amber body, what a beauty ! Lovely barlay aroma. Proper bitterness. Rather high alcohol percentage for a pale ale but it suits it.
