33cl bottle at home. Malt, even barley notes fill the aromas, maybe even some roast and hay or stable, coming from this amber, pale orange lager. The head is white, yet fastly disappearing. Rather sweet maltness, combined with soft bitterness. The carbonation is subtle too, but the body is medium strong. The mouth is full of malts, rye, even some wheat. Think of a "special belge", like Palm. It really has the power of a Belgian strong, or the nose of an English lager.

Color ámbar. Abundante espuma blanca poco consistente. Aroma lupulizado floral. Cuerpo medio. El conjunto es dulce, con bastante de naranja también, y caramelo, para dejar un final bastante seco y algo amargo.

olsvammel (7216) - Örebro, SWEDEN - JUN 16, 2015
Bottle at Liquid Bar in Luxembourg. Metallic smell with a light bready aroma. Light taste, bready with some light hops. Nothing special, the metallic smell is a bit disturbing.

Maakun (5393) - The Hague, NETHERLANDS - JUN 5, 2015
Bottle. Clear Amber with off white head. Lots of caramel, grapes, peach, skunky, vegetal bitterness. Tate is medium sweet with a bit unpleasant bitter finish. Some lingering rye bread. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Not very good.

Robe dorée, légèrement orangée. Mousse assez peu. Beaucoup de fruits (pêche et agrumes) et d’esters. Assez longue en bouche. Texture légèrement syrupeuse. Malheureusement, l’arrière goût est assez déplaisant: goût métallique et aigreur moyenne.

Salmaneser (158) - BELGIUM - MAY 30, 2015
33 cl bottle @ home. Clear golden/orange beer, white head. Fruity aroma, hints of citrus. Taste starts off good, bitter, but then an unpleasant sourness kicks in. Too bad, would be a decent beer otherwise.

Vighals (3912) - Sørumsand, NORWAY - MAY 15, 2015
Gulbrun klar med fingerhøyt hvitt skum. Lite lukt, noe fruktig. Søtlig smak, noe brent karamell. Lett bitterhet i avslutningen. Tørr

Mackeon (163) - - MAY 6, 2015
A very good offering from John Martin. Good hops, well-balanced alcohol and bitterness, some citrus, altogether a very good classic pale ale, much better than many from Britain or the US.

Tripplebeer (62) - - APR 21, 2015
Nice brew, good carbonation, little head, fruity, estery, some metallic notes though....peach, easy going....

SkillsFactory (739) - ITALY - APR 19, 2015
