Someone tell me how this very English-looking beer ended up being brewed in Belgium? Nonetheless in spite of the red white and blue motif it pours reasonably attractive, head is there but not dense enough and dies down quick. On the nose is some rotten cabbage, grain and dough, scent of a non-alcohol seems to linger around it actually. The taste is something different, like a vegetable beer, slight grassiness but also some malts in there and all with a dry finish. Don’t think it all comes together extremely well, though.

Pours a nice and foamy off-white head on a clear orange golden body. Aroma is hoppy and nutty. Mostly sweet with a bitter undertone. Flavor has lots of sweet fruit and bitter hops with a slight citrus sourness. Soft and tasty.

Bright ruby-red color, with a fine, flat white head. Aroma is very hoppy spicy, slightly bitter with a sweet touch. The finish is changing very quickly in an extremely bitter taste. Unfortunately, the bitter tone to the middle part is a little pushy. Finish is overhopped, very bitter.

Iglos Flotte. Fazit: Tolle Optik, schönes Aroma, Geschmack ok, Abgang eher nicht so doll. Allemal probierenswert! Test vom 10.6.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 12,12,9,8,9,9 - 9,60
