Bright ruby-red color, with a fine, flat white head. Aroma is very hoppy spicy, slightly bitter with a sweet touch. The finish is changing very quickly in an extremely bitter taste. Unfortunately, the bitter tone to the middle part is a little pushy. Finish is overhopped, very bitter. legion242 (2348) - Richardson, Texas, USA - SEP 24, 2001
Very unusual Belgian that I really enjoyed. DrNosha (2345) - Württemberg, Germany, GERMANY - DEC 26, 2015

A classic pale ale. Crystal clear brown with a smooth silky mouth feel. The enjoyment of this beer is derived mainly from satin mouth feel rather then from original or complex flavours.
UPDATED: FEB 3, 2008 Amber colored brew. Hoppy aroma, a bit spicy. Sweet malty flavor with some hops in the end. Overall a nice brew.

Bottle @ home. Amber color white head sparkling. Sweetish smell, and slightly sweet taste with some fruit and honey, light bitter. Medium carbon, moderated bitter aftertaste. Interesting, tasty and refreshing. jerohen (2296) - Bussum, NETHERLANDS - APR 30, 2004
Amber coloured, firm head. Sweet hoppy aroma. Quite bitter flavour, like an English Pale should be. Pleasant thirst-quenching beer. Dorqui (2258) - Brescia, ITALY - NOV 23, 2004
Malty. Intense foam. Very hop. It has a strong and aromatic but not exceptional taste. A lot in the nose is felt. Good persistence. Mads Langtved (2243) - Copenhagen K, DENMARK - AUG 21, 2003
Very good. Spicey and malty. A real titbit. POLK (2219) - Hørning, DENMARK - JUL 19, 2012
150712: Golden beer with a beige foam. Sweet dark malty caramel flavor. No bitterness. Very mysterious almost cinnamon and wood flavors.
