Nice amber color with white head that sticks to the glass. Sweetish aroma of wet straw and grainy bread. Flavor starts with a bit of honey before the mildly bitter tang of hops kicks in, but that turns the corner into a drop of caramel-sugar on the back end. Lively mouthfeel, nice for a pale ale but typical for a Belgian. Somewhat wet. A refreshing beer that’s a step too far on the sweet side to be good for session drinking. But that nice kick of hops saves it from being boring. I deem it a good beer.

Bottle, 33cL. Home. Light mahogany clear beer with a medium white head. Medium lasting. Aroma of fruits (red berries), smoked, herbs, notes of caramel and alcohol. Nice balance between bitterness (medium), sweetness (medium), and sourness (light). Medium body, thin and oily texture, average carbonation, warming bitter-sour finish. Overall, a nice discovery ! Pleasant aroma and taste !

Clear amber colour with generous light tan head - good lacing. Delicate floral nectar, hops, celery, spices and doughy yeasts. Medium body. A smooth soft but generous hoppy bitter spicey start and less bitter together with malty sweetness middle. After the initial hops burst the remainder of the palate and flavour is a bit like a lowly carbonated Brit draught ale. The more I had the more I liked it.
