Bottled. (5.8% ABV) Clear, amber beer with an off-white head. Malty and lightly fruity aroma with some caramel and hops. Flavor is malty, with citrus, hops and some caramel-sweetness. Short malty, but long hoppy finish with some metallic note. (060308)

33cl Bottle @ Brussels. Pours amber with a small creamy stable head and lacings. Toffee, fruit, grain and caramel. A bit of metal. Medium bodied. Dry bitter end

330ml bottle (Cracked Kettle, Amsterdam)
Mid red, small head. Fruity hops and honey aroma, quite pleasant. Touch of glue briefly, and a hint of alcohol later. Rich malty body, a touch sticky, but that makes it fuller. Sweet dark fruits too, nice burnt edge. Nice little bite of hops too. Wasn’t expecting much from what’s in theory a a simple beer, but this was as good as many dubbels for its maltiness. Don’t drink cold, certainly better at 15C-ish.

Clear red / dark amber color white head. Smell a little spicy, not very nice to me. Average taste with a low body.

Bottle - Light pale malt sweetness and orange. Clear gold with a rich white head. Tastes just like it smells and surprisingly similar to the IPA. This however is a bit more appropriate.

bhensonb (15208) - Woodland, California, USA - JUN 2, 2008
Tap at Au Bon Vieux Temps. Light floral hop aroma. Golden color with a lacing white head. Medium body with sharpish carbonation. Quite fruity in a pale fruit way. Very lightly bitter. Decent, clean, refreshing, semi-English drink. Makes a nice change.

Theis (15152) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - OCT 25, 2012
Draught at Never Stop, San Sebastian. Ok bitterness. Roasted. Red berries. Knækbrød. Light boozy notes. Sharp notes. Sweet malty. A bit on the sweet side, and not hoppy enough.

Bottle. This version is 5.8% ABV. Nice hoppy aroma, a bit fruity. Malt and lots of hops in the flavor as well as some caramel. Slightly hoppy bitter, with some more of the bitterness towards the finish. Medium-bodied. Very enjoyable.
