SimonBlok (556) - GRONINGEN, NETHERLANDS - JUN 25, 2017
33cl bottle at home. Appearance: clear golden with medium white head. Aroma: hops, some tart lambic note, dish soap, caramel. Taste: high sweetness and low to medium bitterness. Notes of caramel, molasse, sugar. Nothing but malts. Palate: medium bodied, sticky texture and lively carbonation. Way too sweet

Bottle. Martin’s pale ale. Earthy hops, slight fruity, light yeast. Flavour mainly hoppy and yeasty with notes of slight fruit, Tree flavour with earthy notes.

Trolleo (1538) - Pula / Zagreb, CROATIA - MAR 21, 2017
Malty aroma, some traces of iron in the background, it’s not good but it’s not bad. Taste is same. Boring. Extremely boring. Soft carbonation, bit silky, thin to medium body.

Clear dark golden liquid, average head. Fruity aroma of hops, a bit sour. Light body, average carbonation. Taste is sweet, and a bit sour.

Aroma: banana, apricot, biscuit, flour, spices (hint of mild pepper), chemical caramel ; Appearance : Pale blond, clear, average white head ; Taste : medium to high sweetness, lightly bitter ; light body, slick feel, almost oily but not quite, average carbonation, average finish. Overall: too sweet (or too unbalanced in favour of sweetness), smells like sweat... Need I say more? I coudn’t even finish my glass.

Zilverenmaan (174) - Antwerp, BELGIUM - JAN 9, 2017

Bottle - Light pale malt sweetness and orange. Clear gold with a rich white head. Tastes just like it smells and surprisingly similar to the IPA. This however is a bit more appropriate.

VueltaBirrista (104) - Murcia, SPAIN - NOV 4, 2016
