5 ounce sample at the brewpub. The aroma on this is pretty damn spicy. Ginger and nutmeg are prominent. Some underlying sweetness is also in there, too. Fairly aromatic. A little heavy on the ginger, though. Transparent dark amber body with a mild off-yellowish head. Fair lacing and good head retention. Starts spicy with hints of ginger and what appears to be nutmeg and allspice. There is also a little sweet maltiness in the middle. Finishes fairly thin. Light metal to finish. bigjohn916 (11) - California, USA - MAY 10, 2010
Great clove spice aroma with a thick of white pillow head that doesnt go away easily. Appearance dark brown. Clove, corrainder, orange spice.
7%. What a great orginal beer... Glad to see something new and tasty.
