On tap at brewery. Tepid, transparent red-amber with a light ring for a head. Malt nose and flavor are surprisingly fruity, showing significant peach and apricot and also some grass. Soft body with a decent finish. Like this one quite a bit. DocLock (10970) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 21, 2004
Had at HBF on draft. Pours dark brown, with a nice corn flakey, malty aroma. Tastes of malt, corn flakes, caramel. Smooth finish. j12601 (13027) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - JUL 29, 2010
On tap at Marzoni’s on our way to RBSG. Pours a clear copper amber with a thin to medium sized beige and white head. Fruity, clean malt, toast, crisp sweetness. Nice caramel and malt. Toasty and nutty. Toasty, and a little bit of apple sweetness. Even more toast on the finish, malty, dry and light with a slight bitter finish. zdk (1917) - New York, New York, USA - AUG 19, 2010

Where and how: bottle 355 ml 5% version Dickinsonbeer (5074) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - JUN 20, 2004
Aromafairly clean with decent malty feel. Slightly nutty and woody. Solid.
Top: lighter top, nice contrast with base.
Base: bright amber.
Palate : tad oily in body, mid-lighter carbonation.
Taste: similar to Alt beers. Toasty nutty feel with milder yet present hops.
other notes nice lighter brew for everyone.
The brewer said that this was more of an octoberfest/maerzen style. Didnt taste like it was 6.1%. Lots of munich malt flavors and slight european hop aromas. Not too special but very drinkable and smooth. Beerman6686 (6607) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 5, 2007
Lower other scores, but overall a good score because i love this place and there beer is really cheap compared to other brew pubs Nate (4279) - Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 14, 2004
Light fruity malt aroma, little hops. Copper red-brown clear with small off-white head. Medium watery body with light-medium, smooth carbonation. Sweet malt start with no bitter or acidity. Finish is sweet with nutty bitterness. After is sweet, but not overpowering. Alcohol, malt is nicely balanced in flavor with light bitterness, though very last of the finish/after is kind of sour. dpjuart (1112) - Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 31, 2007
Draft sample at Altoona location. Light amber clor, foamy, off-white head. Nice malt nose, slight hops, bit of malt, nice. Malt character, carmel and chocolate with a crisp hop finsih. Yuengling-esque, but better.
