On tap at the brewpub. Clear gold pour with a thin white head. Creamy and corny sweet malt nose. Crisp hops up front with creamy malt until the finish. A light beer with flavor? Yes, it’s true. pjweaver (136) - Charlottesville, Virginia, USA - JAN 4, 2009
Tap, Sampler glass.
Pale golden beer, looks like a macro light lager in glass. Slight pale head. Pilsner malt aroma predominates, bubbly to the nose, smells crisp. Decent watery light beer, reminds me of Yuengling. Clingy roasty malt aftertaste. roder60 (1289) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 17, 2008
Pours a pale yellow color with slight white head film. Has a light watery flavor with a bit of sweet lemon and honey. Pretty good for a light lager. kramer (6682) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 7, 2008
On tap @ Duncansville. Pours a clear yellow with a small covering of white head. Minimal nose, maybe a little pale malt and possibly a little corn. Very bland flavor, and a bit of cardboard on the finish. Thin and fizzy mouthfeel. Overall, not a whole lot more going on than your average BMC. Poured a very light yellow with hardly any head. Aroma mainly of corn chips. Taste is much the same, very corny and light.

Draft at Allison Park under the alias "Three Rivers Gold." Pours gold with no head. Typical pale lager aroma. Flavor of toasted malts and corn/rice adjucts that is countered by a detectable european leafy hop bitterness. I detected some sort of off flavor that I could not put my finger on. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - FEB 18, 2008
(Duncansville) Pale straw body with white head. Aroma is medium sweet, peach, honey, light grassy. Taste is medium sweet, lager yeast, some grassy/herbal, light honey, seltzer. Light body with some crispness, quite drinkable. Decent for what it is. zebracakes (1339) - Washington DC, USA - FEB 4, 2008
Sampler at the Allison Park location, 02.03.08 (Super Bowl Sunday). Clear yellow, white head. Aroma is spicy, hoppy, malty. Flavor is malty and spicy. This is better than most pale lagers, a pleasant surprise. mtoast (336) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 27, 2007
On tap 10/25/07 as part of a sampler rack. Bright gold color, white foam, low retention and lacing. Nice noble hop aroma with some bready malt notes also. Very solid maltbase with perfect amount of bittering. Very surprised by this beer, though it would be the worst of the lineup. On tap at Marzonis in Allison Park called 3 Rivers Gold. This is a very good pale lager. Much more taste than most out there. If there were going to bottle this should be one. Pour was a light gold with a one finger white head. Aroma was decent...a nice light malt tinge. Flavor was typical of a pale lager but a very pronounced hop aftertaste. Almost like a pilsener. Nice.
