Poured a clear straw-yellow with a tiny slick of white head, quite ugly overall. Aroma faint and of sour corn. Taste mild and the same initially, but moves gradually to clean bitter flavours. Thin bodied, watery, flat on palate, only redeeming point is a moderate length to the clean long finish. They try to make it this simple/boring/poor to appeal to freo hipsters? Won’t drink again. A shame, since have enjoyed some of Mash’s beers.

Bottle from Copper & Oak Liquor Mechants 250416. A beer that is a bit too light on flavour for me. While it looks okay in the glass with a vibrant gold colour and inviting head of foam the aroma is moderate and the body is a bit thin. Would possibly taste better on a really hot day.

Tasted 1/4/2016. Draught at Mash Brewing, Henley Brook. Poured a crystal clear amber with a one-finger bright white foamy head that diminished slowly and laced OK. Carbonation moderate with medium sized bubbles giving a slightly fizzy mouthfeel. Aroma subtly of pale malts with no obvious hops. Taste of sweet malt, a bit sugary/syrupy with no real bitterness. Light body. Smooth and bland. Average.

4.8%ABV. Kolsch. I have to confess, my first Kolsch or Kolsch-styled brew. Tapped out with no head, looked well-carbonated. Color was a light gold, 6ºSRM. The palate was sweet, malt balanced. Pronounced carbonation. Light fizzy lemonade mouthfeel. Aroma is reminiscent of a Gewurtztraminer.

It looks the goods with a clear yellow gold body and plenty of carbonation. There’s a patchy web of head on top of the beer and grain-like lager aromas with some golden syrup. It has a sweetness on the nose that is interesting. The flavour is full, rounded and then suddenly sweet and syrupy. I’m not sure this is something I like. It seems drinkable enough but it isn’t a beer that I would go out of my way for. Hmm.

Pours with straw coloured. Little head. Beautiful malty smell, light sugar. Citrus taste with very pleasant finish. A nice smooth, sessional beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draught @ Mash Bunbury.
A translucent pale straw with big, soda bubbles all clingy to the sides and base. Messy, soapy white lather dons it and holds on well. Gritty, grainy straw and hay nose with a touch of grass, lemon zest and black pepper. Dry and pasty mouthfeel, delicate, whispy malt flavours with subdued bitterness and zesty sour lemon notes. Carbonation’s a bit on the harsher side, really bites at the tip. Ends crisp, dry and pasty, free of any nasties. Fairly simple new age replacement for their Mex. Easy drinking.

Bottle at Y&J. Nice session beer. Aromas of wet leaves and citrus. Taste is sweet, with light bitterness. Palate is oily, with a thin to medium body. Yellow, with a frothy head.

Tap at Sail & Anchor. Pale yellow pour with a small white head. Corn and clean malts on the nose. Very doughy with an off putting sweetness. Not my thing at all

Clear golden body with lasting head and good carbonation. Starts out dry with a little citrus and soft grain notes on the finish
