bottle, thanks to thirdeye11, dark brown with caramel aroma, chocolate, caramel, fruit and some paper flavor, watery finish BBB63 (6557) - La Porte, Indiana, USA - MAR 4, 2004
Reddish brown with a small frothy head and minimal lace. The aroma hints of hazelnuts and cashews, floral and grassy hops, caramel and toffee. The taste starts with a lively crisp hop note and a sweet nutty undertone. A slightly lactic sourness in present midway through tasting but not too aggressive. The finish is mild malt and hops. Thin-bodied with a fizzy mouthfeel. Good quaffable session beer.

Pours dark brown with a white head. Aroma is very nutty, with some caramel and roasted malt. Very nice smelling beer. The flavor is standard nut brown ale with lots of nut character. Low carbonation and very drinkable. No idea what the ABV is, but this seems like it would be a great session ale. mar (5437) - Dallas, Texas, USA - DEC 22, 2009
