Bottle. Amber with a rather small head. Toasted malt and Saaz hops through the nose, maybe also a subtle nuttiness. Tastewise it’s a really nice, toasted Czech pils - simple, solid bodied, quite bitter, with a malt and hops driven flavour. Nice one. heavy (2911) - Split, CROATIA - JUL 25, 2012
17/01 0.33 l bottle brought from Czech Rep. It poured dark golden, reddish hued body with medium sized head. Caramel aroma, touched with hops. Bitter flavor, dominated by grass and hay hops with sweet caramel and overripe fruit malt being there as well, giving an alcoholic feel. Medium bodied with sharp, almost unpleasant flavor, and alcoholic as well, no matter of such low ABV. Couldn’t like it too much. Borresteijn (7602) - Zaandam, NETHERLANDS - JUL 24, 2012
On tap at Na Parkanu, Plzen. Clear chestnut amber colour, fluffy white head. Aroma is light malty, sweet, caramel, some grassy hops. Flavour is sweet, malty, caramel, candy, grassy bitter finish. Light-bodied. OK. erickok (6036) - Leuven, BELGIUM - JUL 20, 2012
Light brown, almost clear, nice head. Malty yet clean base. Fruity sweetness. Bock like. Good bitter backup saves this beer. hetyu (273) - HUNGARY - JUL 16, 2012
Bottle - Nice copperish in colour, Ok but not lasting foam. Some light malty nose ,taste comes with decent hops. Medium body, leaves really good bitterness in the mouth. Liked it.

The head is ok, the body is gold-brown. It smells a bit hoppy and bitter, malty. The taste is light and sweet, mild-bitter-caramel. Could be more intensive. 12/8/10/9/12/9 pivoveskotsku (201) - SCOTLAND - JUN 16, 2012
On tap in Plzen. A decent Czech half dark. Dark caramel in colour and taste, bitter and a little sweet. Some hints of vanilla. Malty finish. Not a bad beer, but unspectacular. Mariusz (12304) - Baden-Baden, GERMANY - JUN 14, 2012

On tap at La Casa de la Cerveza (Madrid). Copper colour with a nice white head, medium lasting and nice lacing. Aroma is strong malty, bready and slightly caramelish. Flavour has a moderate bitterness with a good duration, strong malty as well. Carbonation is medium to high. Texture is oily. dr.dod (523) - Szeged, HUNGARY - MAY 1, 2012
33cl bottle. Clear, sweet malt odor, brown colour and foam is also brownish. Small bubbles, but large, bubbling foam. Sweet dream but hoppy aftertaste. A very good beer from Plzen!
