Bottle shared at De Molen tasting. Pours orange without any head. Aroma is herbal, mainly bay leaves, not very pleasant. Taste is actually not as bad as you would expect and quite short lasting. Quite dry with some sourness.
Draft at Woods Island Club. Deep mostly clear maroon with a lasting white head. Aroma is very herbal, tea, red berries, vinous notes, lemongrass. Flavor has tart berries especially of the cran variety, sweet sangria notes, herbal hopless finish. Medium light feel, medium plus carbonation. Unique, but only OK. ffbot (417) - Oakland, California, USA - MAY 1, 2017
Pour is a clear red coloring. Smells of herbal qualities, yerba mate, slight spice. Taste is herbal and complex, very balanced and fruity. Interesting but not one to drink again probably RobertDale (6380) - Lansing, Kansas, USA - FEB 23, 2017

(En fût à Woods Cervecería): Une bonne infusion de fleurs d’hibiscus, de la cerise, une corps protéiné, entier mais aérien et digeste. j12601 (10948) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - FEB 14, 2016
On tap at the brewery. Pours a faintly hazed amber with a thin white head. Floral and herbal on the nose. Medium-bodied, soft floral and herbal notes. Herbal woody bitterness into the finish. mR_fr0g (11904) - Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - NOV 30, 2015
Tap at the Polk station brewery tap. Nice translucent pinky orange coloured pour with a lasting off white pink head. Aroma is huge in your face pink peppercorn, spices, curry, spicy hibiscus. Too much for me. Flavour is composed of mellow spices, berry, peppercorn, hibiscus, biscuity malts, slight grape note in the finish. Palate is semi sweet, frothy carbonation, spicy finish. Little lingering tangy fruit, peppercorn. Better than the aroma. joeneugs (6371) - Livermore, California, USA - SEP 26, 2015
On tap at the brewery. It pours a clear golden orange color with an off white head. The aroma has lots of herbals and background hints of caramel and fruit. Bay leaf, flowers, caramel apple, pear and ginger. Very cool. The flavor is nice with low bitterness, apple, pear, ginger and leafy tea-like herbals. A hint of caramel and bread. Very well balanced without the astringency that I get from other aggressive gruits. One of the best Ive had of the style.
