Off tap: pours golden with a fluffy head that quickly came back to a thin layer. Nothing particularly jumping out at me with the aroma, flavour was fairly one dimensional and lacked the hops that I’d expect. Overall pretty uninspiring.

UPDATED: SEP 8, 2017 Gylden brun klar med lavt beige skum. Lukter maltekstrakt, kandis og noe trevirke. Middels fylde. Søtlig maltig smak. Lett bitterhet. Noe honning. Kort.

UPDATED: AUG 22, 2017 On tap at Prince Hotel, Kirrawee. Pours a bronze gold with a lingering white head. Aroma: Biscuity malt, pine, caramel, grass, mild citrus notes. Taste: Biscuity malts dominate the flavour balance. Mild caramel and citrus flavours. Nice flavour balance, smooth consistency. Medium body. Moderate carbonation. A lingering bitterness dominates the back end of the beer. Slight watery texture at the back end. Easy drinking, and definitely sessionable, but not particularly interesting or unique. Would order this over the other mainstream Australian pale ales, but there are definitely many more interesting Australian pale ales out there.

Tap at the Birmingham Hotel, Melbourne. Poured a crystal clear straw colour with a thin white head. The aroma is grainy malt, light woody hop. The flavour is moderate to light bitter with a light, watery, skunky malt, light dry floral hop bitter palate and a lingering somewhat unpleasant bitter finish. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation. Not the most pleasant drinking experience I’ve had and one that I won’t repeat any time ever! The lingering bitterness in the finish simply prolonged the agony.

Bottle poured a clear golden amber with a lasting creamy ivory head. Aromas of caramel, earthiness and light pine. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of caramel and earthiness with a smooth finish.

Clear golden appearance with large string carbonation. Nice floral hops aroma. Upfront hops taste with balanced bitterness, short lived tho and left with little aftertaste and a watery mouth feel. Smells better then it tastes but still a good beer.

The aroma is mild with just plain hops and malt. The appearance is Amber gold. The taste is like the aroma. The palate is thin. Overall drinkable but not much character.

Session beer for the casual beer drinker, lacking style and substance with a watery finish but one can drink it fast and enjoy their night ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
