Bottle. Inoffensive and not a bad session beer. The kind of thing that someone brings to a party and it suddenly looks good next to all the VB and Crownies. Bit weak on the flavour side though, and a similar quality to Matilda Bays Bohemian Pilsner. Meh.

345ml bottle from Tasty Life, Xiamen. Pours clear golden amber with a white head. Initially had a nice floral aroma but it faded. Some malt and hops. Bitter finish. Thin. Remember having this on tap in Sydney a few years ago and being disappointed then.

Tap pour. Pours a solid gold with no head. Slight yeastie nose. Small hint of bitterness with a crisp taste. Almost seems more like a lager.

Clear, golden colour with two fingers of off white head. Not much aroma, just malty if anything. Slightly metallic flavour with very low bitterness. Low to medium carbonation.

Leighton (20650) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 16, 2017
Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up at a Mare Street offie. Pours clear orange-gold with a frothy, white head. The nose has simple malts, caramel, vague pine, ripe citrus. Medium sweet flavour with ample gooey citrus, crackers, orange, lightly aged pine. Light bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with more basic bready pale malts, honey, ripe citrus, faint piney bitterness. Real entry-level stuff.

UPDATED: JAN 19, 2017 Pretty standard pale. A little cloudy with white thin head. Very mild aroma of hops and summer fruit. Taste is quite bitter, with some metallic-ness, and finishes with fruit. Clean and crisp. Its a good summer beer, but seems dulled for the masses.
