Pale, thin white head. Little hop aroma, but what is there is nice. Flavour lacks any kind of malt backbone, slightly oxidized. This is one of those meh beers which would probably be oh yeh if it was fresh.

From notes - 330ml bottle at Gate 9, Gold Coast Airport on Jan 19th. Light amber/OK head. Not much of an aroma. Mild bitterness with malty palate. Certainly very drinkable.

330ml bottle. Hazy copper with a foamy white head. Sweet toffee with a bitter hoppy finish. Not bad

UPDATED: JAN 19, 2017 Pretty standard pale. A little cloudy with white thin head. Very mild aroma of hops and summer fruit. Taste is quite bitter, with some metallic-ness, and finishes with fruit. Clean and crisp. Its a good summer beer, but seems dulled for the masses.

0.33 l can, as a gift from Australia. I did not take written notes, only numerical ones while having this.

Not much going on here. A lager with a bit of bitterness on finish, pretty light-on but balanced and ok for a quaffa. Nothing offensive but does have mass produced lager undertones. Overall good choice for a lager at a barbie, but underwhelming and bland for a "pale ale".

Bottle, Wine Tavern, Leicester. Golden amber with a bubbly head. Cardboard with caramel and weetabix. Low lemon with dusty notes. Vegetable bitterness. Not great.

I didnt enjoy this too much, but to be honest, I think I may be a bit unfair to this, as I am on the exact opposite side of the planet in Denmark, so obviously, hops dont travel all that well etc etc? Hmm... Well, that doesnt explain the feeling that the barley seems to harshly grow in my mouth. Still, not a complete disaster.

Had this beer 7 years ago in Perth WA, loved it. Tried it yesterday in a pub in northern NSW, insipid, mass produced awfulness.

Restrained aroma in an amber pour. Big malt body is prominent due to the total lack of any hop derived bitterness. The complete opposite of the overly bitter Lazy Yak. The two combined would be a better brew.
