345ml bottle. Lives up to its golden name with a clear golden amber colour and a white head that laces the glass. Quite clear in the glass with some rockmelon and peach aromas. Easy drinking lager but nothing to get too excited about.

Pours light golden with disappearing head. Loads of bitterness but no substance or balance whatsoever. Not sure how this could get past the taste testers. A triumph of marketing over beer makers ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On Holidays gold blond colored body with a white head and a with a spicy fruity hop aroma a spicy sweet herby hops taste with a bitter finish

Sevenlee (1846) - Central Coast, NSW, AUSTRALIA - AUG 22, 2015
Pours a clear golden colour with a white head. Aroma is malt, some caramel and hints of grass. Taste is pretty average lager. Refreshing on a hot day, that’s about it.

Ngejo (1000) - Jakarta, INDONESIA - MAY 30, 2015
UPDATED: MAY 27, 2016 Tap. Clear, golden, minimal head, white foam, lightly bitter, light sweetness, light body, thin feel, lively, & abrupt finish.

Maybe it was the atmosphere, company or situation, but I found this to be OK, which doesn’t seem to fit with most reviewers. As a lager, it has the usual crisp and clean taste with enough hops and malts to make it more interesting than a lot of mainstream "big brands" beer you find here.

345ml bottle. BB 12/12/14. Pale gold colour; tall, frothy, white head which lasted very well and left some lacing. Very gentle aroma of bread, grass, citrus and a little cardboard. Light to medium sweetness and light to medium bitterness. Medium bodied, smooth texture but there is an unappealing, astringent and medicinal bitterness in the finish that lingers and spoils the whole experience. I realise this bottle was a couple of months past its BB date but I’ve had it a few times before and it’s as I remembered. 6.

Keg. A clear golden amber colour with a small but lasting white to off-white head. Biscuit- and caramel malt-centric with grassy hops, a light earthiness and some grain characters. Light to medium body, medium to full carbonation with a short, soft bitterness in the finish.

TedE (1481) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - FEB 21, 2015
On tap at the Australian hotel. Nice spicy hop nose. Clear golden beer with lots of carbonation. Taste is papery, wishy-washy, bland. Finish is neutral then late slight vegetal hops. Not great.

Lunkie (1963) - Glen Iris, AUSTRALIA - FEB 1, 2015
Herbal hop aroma. Clear Amber colour good head and lacing. Malt herbal flavour. Smooth palate.

mattyhennessy (377) - Highton, AUSTRALIA - SEP 7, 2014
Pours clear yellow. Minimal head. Sweet honey like aroma. Some tropical fruit. Very watery body. Taste is malt driven, but very bland. The sweet honey flavour is the only thing really saving it at all.
