In a tulip glass on tap at the Local Taphouse, St Kilda 15/3/13. Dark brown in colour verging on a porter in apperance with a thin cream/off white head. Some slight citrus notes from the hops combine with some big malt sweetness resulting in a raisin or even grape aroma. The cascade hops get drowned out by the sweetness in tasting, slightly thin mouthfeel. A little too sweet for my liking but not a bad example of an American style brown ale. On guest tap at The Local Taphouse, Melbourne. Pours a brown colour with a beige head. Aroma is malty, caramel, citrus, fruits and hops. Taste is medium sweet leading to a hoppy finish. Good one.
