Um, just had this on tap at the Townie. Much better on tap, fruitier. The bottled shit is characterless and watery. If you’re ever stuck playing pool in the townie though, get a schooner or two, or three or four, or maybe more. oops I’m drunkkkk sdyhgweywhyswwwwwwwwwbdlwbwhe Catadobe (112) - AUSTRALIA - NOV 14, 2002
Nice surprising fullness of flavour in this beer considering it’s colour and texture. morebier4me (140) - New York, USA - SEP 15, 2002

This stuff is not too bad, medium body and palate but with a fuller flavour than I had expected. It actually tastes like a german weizen, how refreshing, to find an Aussie beer that actually tastes different, doesn’t just tell you it’s different in the blurb on the bottle. Pale gold crystal clear under a small short lasting white head. Faint floral hops and some sour grainy dough aromas. Lightish body with mild sour bitter and sweet palate. Nice little zing on the tongue and sides of mouth. Some sweetish malt flavours in the middle and a soft sweet to dry finish. Not bad for an Aussie beer.

A nice clean, German style wheat. The yeast is failry subdued, which I like and it is fairly thin. Refreshing. winkle (478) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - JUL 25, 2002
Pretty good beer even now, but it was better. LoveABeer (141) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - JUL 25, 2002
Nice aroma and appearance, good Aussie wheat beer. Nesta13 (205) - AUSTRALIA - JUL 6, 2002
Decent, run-of-the-mill weizen. Apparently this was alot better about 5 years ago. Shame I didn’t have it then. beerledgend (1196) - Waterloo, Wellington, NEW ZEALAND - JUN 15, 2002
Cloudy gold/straw colour with creamy head. Nice wheat aroma. The lemon slice was missing. I wish iwas in WA right now.
