Not too bad, definitely not worth the price tag though. Have drank it inPerth a few times but they serve it to you with a wedge of lemon in the neck.....yuppy scum!

bozoNZ (778) - Christchurch, NEW ZEALAND - SEP 5, 2007
345ml bottle. Pours a surprisingly clear golden yellow. Puffy white head that drops to a lacey whisp. Lemony citrus aroma with a touch of yeast to it. Reasonably clean and strong biting citrus dryness - sweet yet tart. A bit light in the spice / banana dept and maybe misses something being so clear

kwoeltje (2233) - Manchester, Missouri, USA - AUG 25, 2007
(draught) Light gold with generous white head and nice lace. Yeast aroma. Flavor of yeast, mild spices/fruit. Unfortunately it was paired with a steak, which didn’t help bring out the flavor - I asked the waitress (in a pub in Brisbane) what Redback was, and she said "Sort of a reddish beer" - I was expecting an Irish or maybe an amber ale, not a wheat beer.

sinkas (293) - Perth/Fremantle, AUSTRALIA - JUL 15, 2007
Sampled from bottle at WABA Beer dinner, Applecross, WA Not really a hefeweizen anymore, maybe more and american wheat. Light on body and flavour.

Thylacine (526) - Tasmania, AUSTRALIA - JUL 7, 2007
345 ml bottle - Clear golden straw colour. Thin, rapidly diminishing, white head. Thin bodied with low to medium carbonation. Flavours are a little bit bland. Sweet with a touch of banana and only a very mild bitterness. Lacks intensity.

joergen (28982) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAY 11, 2007

Emil (6064) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAY 10, 2007
Bottle. Light hazy golden colour with a white head. Yeast, malty, smoke aroma and taste. Medium body with a sweet light banana finish.

3.1
madquacker (1165) - Canberra ACT, AUSTRALIA - APR 20, 2007
Poured clear until the sediment kicked in at the bottom. Quite a solid version of a wheat beer. Nice head and aroma and a yeasty banana taste. Nicely balanced. Stay away from the Cristal version though which is a poor imitation.

2.9
Storm (2684) - Amager, DENMARK - MAR 29, 2007
Bottle. Golden clear with a little white head. Aroma of bread-like, yeast and very little of banana. Yeasty flavour with a dry and wheaty finish.
