UPDATED: AUG 13, 2017 Very light wheat beer, yeasty flavour with citrus overtones. Not the greatest beer good as a one off couldn't do a session on this drop

From old tasting notes. Hazy, pale gold color. Huge, creamy white head.ninteresting, fruity malt aroma. Tart, wheat malt palate is reminiscent of apples. Crisp, dry finish with a hint of hoppiness that lingers through to aftertaste. Very refreshing and flavorful.m

Nice Australian beer. Refreshing and very drinkable. Nice appearance but no distinct flavour.

Ngejo (1000) - Jakarta, INDONESIA - MAY 27, 2016
Tap. Golden, clear, frothy, white foam, lightly bitter, light sweetness, light body, thin feel, average carbonation, & astringent finish.

tomgorm (47) - maroubra, AUSTRALIA - OCT 14, 2015
Wheat aromas with some banana and cereal/bread, citrus peel and medicinal tastes present but subtle. Some sweetness, very light carbonation and colour.

Aroma is more stale bread than normal weizen aromas. I would classify this as either a kristallweizen or what ale, its a far cry from a real German weizen. Taste is flat and bland, no bananas, clove or bubblegum to be had. This might have scored better as a wheat ale, but was marked way down compared to German hefes.

345ml bottle into glass. Pleasant wheat nose. Golden beer with no head, zero. Medium carbonation. Quite watery and thin but good finish. A bit bitter, nicely balanced with banana. A mixed bag.

RafeAU (629) - Los Angeles, California, USA - OCT 5, 2014
bah, not too bad from within the crappy selection in an aussie bar. better than the usual lagers but no reason to get it other than nothing better being available. weak version of a hefe.

maus (46) - Tartu, ESTONIA - JUL 3, 2014
Poured from a bottle. About 6 months old. Golden clear colour, head dissipates fast. Taste is a bit acidic and fizzy. Spices, hops and all else is there, yet nothing spectacular.

jonnyguns (1105) - AUSTRALIA - JUN 17, 2014
Bottle. Some spices and wheat in the aroma. Dies about there. Was told this beer was better 10-15 years ago, not anymore. Avoid. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
