750ml bottle from Archive. Had this bottle for a while and finally got around to drinking it. Quite good with a complex mix of fruitiness ands pickiness. ComradeK (1270) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - MAY 19, 2013
750ml bottle. Pours a clear golden amber, with a smallish off-white head, which lasts fairly well and leaves reasonable lacing. Citric hops mix with some herbal notes, light sweetness and sourdough bread in the aroma. There is an almost lime soda flavour up front, sharpening into more of a genuine lime taste. This leads into a fairly light sourdough body. Fresh, leafy hops and more lime make up the finish. This is quite refreshing, but too light-bodied and without much flavour complexity. Pours gold with a small head.
Nose shows grassy, spicy hops, lemon, biscuity and bready malt.
Similar flavours - spicy hops and biscuity malt. Somewhat plain. Also some noticeable booze.
Too much carbonation. fletchfighters (1604) - AUSTRALIA - DEC 3, 2012
Thanks to Owen for bringing this to a tasting.
Hazy straw gold color. Nice white head. Good spotty lacing.
Nose is of funky apple cider. Not a good sign at all. Little bit of white pepper but cider dominates the smell.
Taste is of cider and a cross of an industrial lager. Metallic and sour at the same time.
Just a bad beer and after a few sips it was dumped. Poor quality and worst beer of the night in a big way davidm (2081) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - NOV 28, 2012
Bottle from Swords Vic Market. Nice and yeasty. Aromas of dough, cheese, caramel. Taste is sweet, with sour notes, and long length. Palate is velvety, lively, and medium bodied. Amber, cloudy, with a thin head.

Bottle. Amber with a white head that fades to the rim. Aroma is grapey with lemon leaves, pepper, wood. Lowish carbonation - a little more would have been welcome. Sweet with lightly spiced light caramel, lots of grapes, perfumey lemon, vanilla. Woody and slightly spicy finish. The sophisticated touches wanted a more vibrant beer to play under.
