Can. Cloudy, pale, medium sweetness, light body, sticky, average carbonation, & abrupt finish. Muggus69 (2671) - Yarram, Vic, AUSTRALIA - MAR 8, 2016
Hazy orange thing, no head.
Reasonably punchy ginger aroma, fresh, earthy.
Light bodied, lively carbonation adds to the gingery bite.
Warming ginger root spice on the body, touch of sweetness without the body to carry it.
Nice flavour, lacks girth. jonas (7993) - Garching b. München, GERMANY - NOV 21, 2015
Tap. Spicy ginger nose.
Milky green, no head-looks like a lime based drink.
Bright ginger notes, lime and sugars, light spicy finish. Chewy medium light body. Nice

330ml can into schooner glass. Aroma of ginger and cooked vegetables. Looks like creek water with a few bubbles. No head. Tastes good though! Smooth ginger/citric taste with peppery aftertaste. Would make a wicked ’Dark and Stormy’. drjoeng (1358) - SINGAPORE - JUN 3, 2015
It’s an alcoholic soft drink! For the uninitiated, it’ll taste pretty much like the Bundaberg drink.
Matso’s have done a nice job with their ginger beer which is very drinkable and will appeal to just about everyone, even those who don’t like beer.
It has a nice carbonated mouthfeel giving you a wet smack of a welcoming kiss that is at first sweet then tangy, hinting at lemon zest then peppery and finally a lingering miasma of fresh crushed sugarcane.
I have a very limited palate for sweet beverages mostly because of the cloying sour aftertaste that beverages sweetened with sugar leave in my mouth. This should in no way stop you from trying Matso’s fine ginger beer. A truly fine edition that stands up nicely to my personal favorite, Crabbie’s.

Strong ginger aroma. White yellow colour with no head. Ginger flavour sweet throughout. Light body with high carbonation. Lappy (33) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - MAY 16, 2014
This tasted of fake ginger, possibly essence used rather than a brewed ginger. Typical RTD style product. Ridiculously expensive as well. jonnyguns (1105) - AUSTRALIA - JAN 26, 2014
Can from mane liquor. Fucking tasty ginger beer. One of my favs! Low alcohol and refreshing

Ginger beer is a favorite of mine for many years and was quite excited to find this example from the WA brewer. Sadly it falls way short of the mark, pale and very acidy with little ginger and a lemon overload.
