Bottle, 33cL. Home. Kindly given by @Jaghana. Merci. A sparkling very dark brown beer with a big beige head medium retention. Roast, rough biscuit, alcohol. Medium round sweet warming, dry ; stormy weather. Heavy body, light to medium texture, soft carbonation, sweet dry roasty warming finish. Overall, disappointing ; black ipa?? Chritsmas beer why not... I will have to taste another one.

33cl bottle traded with Maakun. Thick creamy of white head. Clear deep burgundy pour. Nice bitterness. Some herbal notes. Pretty decent

Quack-Duck (9484) - Down South, GERMANY - DEC 28, 2014
bottle from Bièrerie Illkirch-Graffenstaden. Deep brown, almost black, with a fluffy and lasting beige head. Resiny-fruity nose with some dark malts. Full-bodied, malty base with roasted malts, chocolate and dried fruit. Hoppy flavours with resine and pine round it off perfectly. Good.

Maakun (5578) - The Hague, NETHERLANDS - NOV 21, 2014
Bottle. Brown with small of white Head. Sweet malts and caramel at first with a light roasted touch. Plenty of aroma hops with tropical fruits (mango, pineapple). Later more peach and very ripe pear. Quite sweet with light bitter finish. Nice take on a Christmas beer!

Erzengel (8763) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - OCT 24, 2014
Sharp-unround beginning, fresh but lots of bitter hops without aroma. Lots of carbonation. Slightly sweet, grainy, sharp. Not my beer. 7/10/6/7

Koelschtrinker (20403) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - AUG 20, 2014
Dunkel hopfiger, leicht medizinischer Antrunk. Die Hopfigkeit nimmt ab, dass Bier wird trocken, kann aromatischer Nachhall. Ok. 10/8/9/8/8/8

jaghana (6070) - Strasbourg (Alsace), FRANCE - NOV 25, 2012
UPDATED: NOV 1, 2015 Re-rated : good grassy and caramel notes, better feeling that the first time, good bitterness, caramalt notes, long aftertaste, a german maly profile, good grassy finish too.
A dark amber beer with huge heady and good retention. nose is on bittering hops and caramalt. Aroma is on caramel, dry, botter hops with orange peel, profile is near the psychodeklic. Caramel touch, finish is very very dry without aromatic hops and a burnt caramel duration. On my point of view less interesting that the old version.
