Tap at the brewery. Best beer of the night by far. Had all 8 beers they had on tap that night. This one poured an orange color with a white head. Aroma was pine, citrus and grass. Flavor was bitter but not to overly bitter. Good hop aftertaste. I would love to try a few of there other IPAS. This one was a good start. Terminus (3710) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - APR 24, 2010
tap at brewpub-hazy orange with a soapy white head. citrus nose but its a bit muddled-probably a bit old. crazy flavors-lite orange and lots of other citrus. ua decent fruity ipa but im sure it was a bit more punchy when it was fresh. i will have to retry this one if he puts it on and if im in town. Enjoyed at the brewpub. Rather dark and copper colored with a small off white blotchy foam. Plenty of fruit in the aroma with moderate malt and a bit of rye. Flavor profile is similar. Hops are floral with pine. Just a bit of citrus and spice. The fruit reigns supreme here and is quite pleasant. vyvvy (6639) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - MAR 27, 2010
Pours amber with a sudsy/soapy beige head. The aroma has a nice balance of toasty nutty malt and hops that are floral , tropical and piny. Medium dryish husky body with a bit of a bite and a decent amount of underscored harsh carbonation. The flavor starts with some dry nuttiness to the malt and dry, earthy and piny hops as well as some grapefruit and a bit of dry spiciness from the rye. The finish has lots of dry hops and rye. Very enjoyable IPA that’s on the dry side & that works well for me. kwoeltje (2233) - Manchester, Missouri, USA - MAR 17, 2010
(draught) amber with off white head. Floral/pine hops aroma. Flavor is floral/pine hops, nicely balanced by the malt with a hint of rye. Excellent rye pale ale.
