Light hazy golden color, white head. Malty, cream scent. Butterscotch, nutty taste. Malty aftertaste. A bit weak mouthfeel, medium bitterness.
Keg at Meat & Donuts. Pale Gold with a White head. 9 degree beer is very uncommon. I agree with Motelpogo that it’s an odd choice of seasonal. This is more of a summer cycling beer. Its a light and thin. A bit of grassy hops. Light bitterness. In the right context it could hit the spot. Not a very ’Matuska’ beer. motelpogo (8031) - Plzen, CZECH REPUBLIC - MAR 10, 2015
on tap at beergeek bar in prague, an odd choice of a winter seasonal to brew. pale golden with a faint haze and persistent head; aroma of soggy porridge with a touch of grassy hop; pancake dough flavours with medium bitterness; slightly underfented feel to the malt. a bit of a surprise to find a matuska beer not to my liking - they’ve been in great form lately. angelkostvo (1248) - CZECH REPUBLIC - FEB 11, 2015
