COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Intercontinental IPA. 15.9°

UPDATED: JUL 16, 2012 On tap in Pilsen. For me, this is one of the best beers brewed in CZ. Beautiful, hazy orange colour, creamy white head, massive pine and citrus aroma, which carry through into the taste which is fruity and delicious, with a very pleasant bitterness. Hoppy and brilliant. This is by far and away my favourite IPA.

Prywatnie numer 1 w?ród piw typu Ipa. Degustowana w Prague Beer Museum. Znakomity aromat owoców cytrusowych, mango, ananas? Pi?kny kolor zachodz?cego s?o?ca, odpowiednia gor?czka. Mocno pijalne.

Bottle. Hazy amberish golden with a frothy and durable head. Aroma is biscuity malt combined with a piney and fruity hop-orgy - grapefruit, mango, passion fruit, some white grapes. Taste is perfectly harmonic. Moderately full bodied beer with some sweetish malt upfront that is quickly covered by the tropical and piney hop aromas, and finishes with a bitterness that is soft and intense at once (60 IBU), quickly falls to a lower level and then slowly fades out. The soft yet potent bitterness resembling Bohemian pilseners goes fantastically well with the American hop aroma. This beer is as close to being perfect as I can imagine.

Postupně sem budu doplňopvat piva, co jsem vypil a zapsal si, chvilku to asi bude trvat a proto k těm dříve vypitým pivům nebudou žádné "dojmy" . Tak toto je špička !

6.3 On tap at Funus, Bratislava. Dark gold to orange color, almost clear but also seen cloudy, maybe depends on the keg. Big creamy white head, persistent. Fresh fuity and resin smell. Full malty aroma, syrup, and some sugar, packed with loads of resiny hops providing tropical fruit pineapple, pine and grapefruit. Taste has a great curve and well balanced, light salty. Nice bitterness in the finish. Thick body oily texture. Soft, smooth very long aromatic finish. Alcohol level is perfect, not too strong and does not burn. Excellent west coast stuff from Matuska.
