When: Version Golden Weizenbock 16° at Eastern 2017. Where: Bottled, Prague.
Excellent ALE. This beer is not bitter. It has excellent and smooth taste, it tastes similar to honey.

On tap, Beergeek Praha. Nice foam, proportionate in "stiefel" glass, settled relatively quickly.Pleasant amber hue, darker than typical Seized (which is as it should be, I suppose). Higher alcohol content than typical Czech beer but not overpowering like some stronger Danish beers can be. Nice drinkability but not something I could drink all night. Will definitely order in the future when the mood strikes. bartlebier (4117) - Belchium im Biersgau, GERMANY - JUN 17, 2015
33cl bb05/2015, cheers motelpogo and mowbeer. Slightly expired, just in time for a post-fast is this gorgeously taut and tasty rendition of a Weizenbock, Czech style: cloudy cheesecake (1) yellow pour with dense white eggyoke cap. Nose still quite contained, opening up more to earthy spring pasture, quince and cheesecake (2) than your usual clove and banana milkshake; pleasant wheat aromas. Combination of mouthfeel and taste is nothing short of impressive and off-style: like a tightly wrapped cheesecake (3) speckled with candied gooseberry, dense yet incredibly drinkable and even quenching, this Weizenbock is nothing like the imposing TAP4 Weizenbrick drunk in comparison before. Buttermilk and lemonade are as if woven into the fabric of its cheesecake (4) body, assertive aroma hops adding another zesty layer of citrus and pickled orchard fruit. Drying clean finish, finis opera. Did not see this coming, particularly post-BB. Ascelja (1678) - Neratovice, CZECH REPUBLIC - APR 2, 2015
Bottle 0,75l from Base Camp Praha; yellow hazy body, high creamy white head. Aroma of yeasts, malt, apples and apricots. Taste is high sour and sweet, aftertaste is clever bitter. Apples, honey, yeast, little bit banana. Full body, high carbonation. Nice.

Bottle 0,75l. Hazy, orange colored beer. Aroma is yeasty, sour, malty, fruity (apricots). Flavor is fairly sweet and sour, fruity, finish is moderately bitter. My impression is fermented juice of stewed apricots and peaches.

Pours a hazy yellow with small head but stays for a while. Aroma is banana, fruity and some malts, no traces of hops. Taste is quite sweet and soft, with a quite alcoholic taste. Aftertaste is malty and sweet with sone alcoholic notes. A good weizenbock, balanced and tasty.
