Can. Pours near black with a thin beige head. Medium roasted malts, dark chocolate, and faint hints of spices. Rich and fudgey, with hints of smoke as well. Good stuff. Jimmythespoon (469) - - SEP 28, 2013

Can: Very intensive dark chocolate and cacao aroma with light notes of chilies. Black color and a quickly diminishing brown head. Flavor is malty, roasty, light sweet with a following, very intensive cacao and hocolate flavor. Light spicy with decent sharpness of the chilies. Finish is very roasty but not to bitter with notes of cacao powder and chilies. Very tasty and harmonic. Beersiveknown (5309) - NORTHERN IRELAND - OCT 28, 2013

Ruby tinged super dark brown with lacing of tan head. Chocolate, cranberry and cardamom on the nose. Medium bodied, spiky carbonation, initially chili spices, then head berries and lip tingling heat in the finish. Reminds of Mexican hot chocolate. Spice builds. Really enjoyable but a bit thin perhaps.

Can in the Head of Steam, Durham. Black body with fading tan head. Huge chocolate coffee aroma. Vary dry and bitter with lots of coffee and dark chocolate and a burnt toast finish. Nice but lacking something. joergen (29625) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAR 23, 2014

A really nice looking well made stout. Roasted malts abound with hints of spice and yeast. A little chocolate on the palate. full body and flavor. Not seeing the low scores. It was quite good if a little different. I definitely appreciate the quality " BuckeyeBoy (8861) - Boise, Idaho, USA - MAY 3, 2017
12oz can pours out a dark brown topped with a tan head. Nose is roast malts some spice cinnamon and a little sweetness. Taste is more of the light spice cinnamon chocolate sweetness. JoeTheYounger (1195) - Lake Arrowhead, California, USA - MAR 7, 2013
12 ounce can purchased from Total Wine in Rancho Cucamonga for $2.99. As I poured this out of the can into my tulip glass, it poured a dark black pour with a chestnut head. The aroma had initial black pepper, chocolate, and spicy peppers. Taste is initially bittersweet chocolate with just a hint of peppers. I don’t really get any cinnamon from this though. Medium lively carbonation with a dry finish. Overall very enjoyable.
