Can. Very dark brown - almost black, small to average and fully diminishing light brown head. Moderate, malty and sweetish aroma, some roasted malt and light coffee, faint spiciness (pepper, cinnamon). Body is light to medium, malty and sweetish flavor, light caramel and light roasted malt. Finish is average, malty and lightly sweetish, some roasted malt and light coffee, faint spiciness. Bit watery stout with roastiness and faint spiciness/pepper. whittleb1 (7) - - SEP 9, 2013 does not count
Pours black with little cola colored head. Relatively carbonated for a stout. Some malt in the nose, but not much. Bitter chocolate and pleasing sweet malt flavor, but less spice than I was expecting. Overall a decent stout. fontjt (77) - Louisiana, USA - SEP 8, 2013
Can: Poured black with a dark tan foamy head. Scents of bread, roasty, chocolate. Taste is muted chocolate. Not that good. JohnRMurdoch (4828) - Glasgow, SCOTLAND - SEP 8, 2013
12oz can from Good Spirits Co. Almost black, big dark beige head. Toasted chocolate malt aroma. Toasted chilli & coffee flavour. Bitter hot chilli aftertaste. OK but not really my thing. philtom15 (54) - Kansas, USA - SEP 7, 2013
Very nice beer, nice body good head retention, lacing was solid. Pleasant aroma. And the flavors were in-depth.

Pour out of 12 oz can, dark black pour with thin tan head, aroma brought notes of lots of dark chocolate, spice, cinnamon, hints of slight chili, finishing fairly sweet, slight roast. Taste is a mix of spice, cinnamon, hints of roast, coffee notes, hints of dark chocolate, finishing sweet, slightly dry and bitter. Ok, the concept seemed better. Bottle. Black beer with a good but soon disappearing light brown head. The aroma is mildly roasted, and the flavour has some bitterness and a smooth roasted nature. Overall a good but basic stout like beer.

Can from Bier Huis, Ossett. Not sure how a 7% beer brewed with chocolate and spices (which spices?) can end up so thin. Everything is in the aroma. boozedude (2228) - Des Moines, Iowa, USA - AUG 24, 2013

Can @ Dean’s Birthday tasting, courtesy of zer0. Pours a very dark, almost black beer with a small biege head on top. Faint aroma of licorice, chocolate and Belgian yeastiness. Flavour is medium sweet, light alcoholic and malty. Short finish and a quite watery body. Decent.
