Can from Darby’s Liquor Store, Vancouver Theydon_Bois (20939) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - AUG 4, 2013
Black color with brown compact head. Aroma of dark chocolate and cocoa nibs, then roasted malt, and some vanilla. The mouthfeel is dry and thinner than one would expect; the roasted malt and dark chocolate flavor is decent, with a very light chili/spicy touch, but also some disapproved salty liquorice in the end.

Nearly black in color with a tan head. Watery aroma with a decent amount of roasted malt. Mild earthiness, coffee grounds, banana, and a touch of sweet fruit. I don’t really get any spice from the cinnamon or peppers. The flavor is acidic, earthy, and roasty. It’s also a bit watery. Some coffee, mild spice, chocolate, coffee, and banana. Pretty meh.
