Piano key black. Nice tall head, dark latte foam in color and consistency, but it doesn't last. Smells irony (like Guinness), dominated by caramel and chocolate, with the faintest waft of cinnamon. Kinda like the cinnamon brownies I make. Kinda. There's a hint of walnut here that I really dig, and a bit of brown sugar. Nice.
For a beer that lists cinnamon, chipotle, and chocolate as ingredients, this doesn't taste much like cinnamon, chipotle, and chocolate. There's a vague cola-like cinnamon spice note, even vaguer smokiness, and somehow less chocolate than an ordinary stout. Mostly this tastes like liquorice – molasses, dates, cola, anise – which is no bad thing, not at all. But it doesn't do, as they say, what it says on the tin. The texture is a bit thin and bubbly as well, and that, combined with the oddly spiced flavor, makes me feel like this is less a great stout and more like a good (but weird) whisky and cola.

Can shared by Mick. Deep black with a great looking rusty tan head. Rich spicy bready chocolate aroma. Medium bodied with a spritzy carbonation. The taste is chocolate, mild citrus zest and spice paste. A fun beer. Stuu666 (13092) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - FEB 18, 2015

Can shared at the chriso pre-Christmas tasting 2014 - London. Pours clear, dark brown with a creamy beige head. The nose has a bit of milk chocolate, raisins, tangy berries. Medium sweet flavor, a little oxidised, with brown sugar, candi sugars, ripe dark fruits, fig. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sugary dark malts in the finish, ripe fruits, plum, fig, berries, light cocoa. Not bad. Danyel (1606) - Colorado, USA - NOV 10, 2014
Can. Aroma is very strong if milk chocolate, cinnamon, very sweet, a touch of roast . Taste is sweet, a tad bitter finish- kind like drinking chocolate milk. Would make a fantastic beer float. Overall, good.

Különleges dobozából éjfekete színű ital csordogál elő, melyen sárgás, bézs színű, rövid életű hab képződik, majd belgákra jellemző, édes beütésű aszalt paradicsom illata száll fel, így téve világossá számunkra a különlegesség netovábbjának perceken belüli megtestesülését. A feliratokon jelzett, édeskés jellegű fűszerezettség kevésbé, a paprika pikáns zamatai már annál inkább kirajzolódnak a végízében, amit egy közepesen szénsavas, telt keretbe ágyazott test érzete előz meg. Könnyedén csúszik, nem a végletek itala, mégis kellőképpen exkluzív, speciális karakter.

A really nice looking well made stout. Roasted malts abound with hints of spice and yeast. A little chocolate on the palate. full body and flavor. Not seeing the low scores. It was quite good if a little different. I definitely appreciate the quality " Desverger (11097) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - AUG 17, 2014

Clear dark brown color with a average to large, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, light to moderate coffee. Flavour is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, earthy, chocolate, roasted. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
Pours a dark brown almost black color with tan head. Malt on the nose, a little cocoa but not much; follows onto the palate. Finishes with just a little heat from the chiles. Not their best offering.
