Draft at sb. Pours black with a loose creamy dark tan head. Mild sweet nose, mostly sweet milk chocolate. Creamy medium body with soft carb. Sweet smoky peppers show through the chocolate, cinnamon is dialed back. Interesting at a basic level, and easy to drink. riversideAK (6261) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - FEB 16, 2013

12 ounce can purchased from Total Wine in Rancho Cucamonga for $2.99. As I poured this out of the can into my tulip glass, it poured a dark black pour with a chestnut head. The aroma had initial black pepper, chocolate, and spicy peppers. Taste is initially bittersweet chocolate with just a hint of peppers. I don’t really get any cinnamon from this though. Medium lively carbonation with a dry finish. Overall very enjoyable. trujahwarrior (510) - Monroe, Washington, USA - APR 14, 2013
Pours a dark brown almost black color with a medium tan head that leaves spotty soapy lacing. Smells of chipotle peppers, roasted malt, Belgian yeast, and dark chocolate. Tastes of coffee, cinnamon, dark chocolate, Belgian yeast, and, chipotle peppers, with a black pepper finish. Mouthfeel is thin and watery with good carbonation. This is a pretty good Belgian stout. I like the added chipotle peppers. Too bad its a one time limited beer.

12 ounce can. Pours a deep jet black color with a small beige head. A sweet nose of chocolate and some pepper. A nice flavor: some stout base here with roast and chocolate, light peppers, not really hot, vanilla, cinnamon, almost combines to taste a bit like pumpkin. Quite nice. Can at flying saucer Garland. Poured a black color with a khaki top. Taste of spice, coco, smoke, very complex! High carbonation, medium body. Rock on! RABinCO (1511) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - MAY 2, 2013

Had this once sometime last year...canned. Hint of chocolate on an otherwise sweet roasted nose. Flavors range from burnt coffee to dark chocolate to pepper to hints of spicy hops on the finish. Pretty good stuff. AshtonMcCobb (6604) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JUL 5, 2013
355ml can thanks to unstablefable. Pours opaque black with a nice big crema head. The nose has something savoury and smoky but both of these are mellow, Maybe even aged game, hung meat, pastrami or something. The taste is big coffee and dark chocolate and there’s a long creamy mid palate to the end - nuts too. Overall, interesting beer.
