12 oz can into shaker. Thanks, Brenn79. Nice grapefruit and citrus powder in the nose. Pours a hazy gold with a thick pillowy head full of big bubbles. Taste is very standard for this style; there are no diversions or off-notes. That means it’s tasty, yet nothing special. It’s mostly hoppy bitter with just a touch of malt sweetness. Carbonation is pretty high for this style. Some purists might gripe about this, but it doesn’t bother me. Medium body. Overall, a tasty IPA, but nothing I would go out of my way to buy. minch25 (577) - Medford, Massachusetts, USA - JUL 14, 2010
Hazy orange-yellow. Frothy head. Bitter but not too bitter. Goes well with food. Slightly dirty but not necessarily in a bad way. Pretty good. GonZoBeeR (3061) - ste-catherine, Quebec, CANADA - JUL 9, 2010

Courtesy of Wavers1 for this brew. Aroma is a strong malty honey backbone, with hints of citrus hops. Color is a pale orange, with about two fingers of white head. Taste has a bigger Malt Backbone than most IPAs with hints of honey, bitter hops, and and grapefruit. Palate is crisp and thin. kbutler1 (1381) - Minnesota, USA - JUN 30, 2010
Can. Canned 030410. First had this in Hawaii last year and finally grabbed some cans recently in a trade. Pours a nice slightly hazy orange honey color with a 1 finger head that slowly sinks to about 1/8 of an inch. Already lacing. Swirl and sniff results in a nosefull of citrus hops along with a subtle sweetness. Very balanced with a nice bitter kick at the end. Canned alomst 4 months ago may have taken a bit out of the hops up front. This takes me back to sitting on the beach! Very good. Medium mouthfeel.

An orange amber IPA with a thick light moka head. A classic floral hops aroma with orange pulp notes, piney and pungeant. In mouth, a classic biscuitty malt with lingering floral hops, oily mouthfeel, medium bodied. Can at Mondiale 2010. djd07 (15282) - Houston, Texas, USA - JUN 25, 2010
Can. Thanks Chels. Pours a clear copper with a large frothy off white head that lasts awhile. The aroma is strong sweet hop with grapefruit and floral. Medium mouthfeel with a smooth hop taste and nice lingering finish. Easy to drink, a very impressive IPA from Maui Brewing, really enjoyed this one. brokephibroke (315) - Mead, Colorado, USA - JUN 20, 2010
Brought some home with me from my last trip to our 50th State. Pours a chunky coppery orange with a frothy, white head which clings to the tulip glass. Huge pine great the nose with a spicy citrus backdrop. Creamy and coating, the sweetness is quickly overtaken by the hoppiness, similar to a good Colorado hop bomb. The citrusy hoppy bitterness does linger and linger and linger. troopie (2379) - Munchen an der Willamette, Oregon, USA - JUN 19, 2010
Tin. Poured orange with thin white head. Moderate lacing. Full hop aroma, naartjies and seville oranges. Hop flavour, with some more naartjies and grassiness. Blood orange finish.
