In trade from bhensonb I believe, awhile ago. Golden orange, huge rocky head. Aroma has a nice balance of floral and juicy citrus up front, huge malt sweetness coming through. Flavor much the same, residuel sweetness takes over a bit. Another beer I owe a rerate to. Probably pretty solid fresh. Daytonbeer (730) - Ohio, USA - MAR 21, 2010
Beers always taste better in Hawaii. At the yard house, which I highly recommend. 100 taps. Aroma is bright hops. Color shines a dark golden color. Taste is ideal. Hops, sugar, alcohol, and fruit. strings (377) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - MAR 21, 2010
On tap at Cafe Mambo in Maui. My estimation of IPA just keeps going up and up as a taste more great ones like this. Really enjoyed this one, which seemed to have more characteristics of an APA but still the recognizable hoppy bitterness of an IPA. Almost like a perfect mix of both syles - the flavour of an APA with the more complex palate of an IPA. Rosewater, passionfruit, superbly realised maltiness and great lingering finish. Very welcome on a hot Maui afternoon.

Can (big thanks to joss!!!!!!): Deep, very, very deep piney-hoppy nose with a solid sweetish (exotic-) fruity background; deep golden coloured, a bit unclear, medium-sized white head, sticking to the glass; solid bitter and sweet flavour, very smooth and medium bodied; lingering fruity (grapefruit, lemons) and gorgeous hoppy (piney, citrussy) finish, balanced by sweet pale malt. (can, 35.5cl) Hazy, golden colour with a thick and slightly off-white foamy head. Fruity and very piney hoppy aroma with moderately sweet pale malty and slightly spicy background. Slightly bitter flavour with a rounded malty sweetness, medium bodied with a smooth carbonation. Soft pale malty base with a cornucopia of hop flavours, most of all exotic fruits (guave, mango) and grape-fruit; leading into a medium-dry, slightly bitter very and lasting exotic hoppy finish. A Hawaiian taste bomb. 03.III.10 jb (3254) - Rochester, New York, USA - FEB 13, 2010
Really nice IPA, even though it was in cans. Loved the 6 we got this in, had 2 each of 3 different beers, bought in Honolulu ABC. Nice big nose, standard IPA grapefruit + pine. Dark, amber, some malt to this, and plenty of body. BillKismet (4064) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JAN 31, 2010
This is another in the increasingly quality canned brew offerings. This brew pours a copper color and has a moderate head. The Kent Goldings are readily apparent as this is a fruitier and juicier IPA rendition then is typical of the U.S. Well-rounded bitterness. Overall, a decent IPA, but PNW hopheads may be disappointed. yemenmocha (659) - Glendale, Arizona, USA - JAN 29, 2010
Pours a pale amber color with enormous white head that retains well and laces nicely in my glass. Nose has a clean, bready aroma with some citrusy hops to make things interesting. On the palate there is a very nice balance of toasty malt with juicy-fruit hops of the usual variety for IPA’s. Finish has even more citrusy hops and again some of the fresh bready flavors/aromas mentioned earlier. Drinkable for the style.
