COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our lightest beer, made from 100% malted barley. This blonde lager is what sailors really swam to shore for; its light, with very little bitterness and a slight malt finish.

Can version brought from Hawaii, thanks Otto. Clean pils malt aroma, no off aromas, a hint of mineral as it warms. Cracker-like malt flavor, a bit of noble hop flavor, bitterness enough to balance. Great silky mouthfeel, carbonation high yet no carbonic bite. About halfway between a Munich Helles and a Dortmunder.

12 oz can at home. Pours a clear golden color with a medium sized off white head. The aroma and flavor have pale malts, grainy malt, herbal and earthy hops, hints of citrus, grass, mild bitterness to the finish, plain.

355ml can. This is a lifeless lager, more of a pale lager than a helles, light and mostly devoid of character.

Aroma: Slight sufur smell that is proper for a Helles Lager, beady and toasty sweetness pick-up as well. Appearance: Straw Blond, crisp and clear Taste: Great malt backbone with bready and toasty malt taste, then get a traditional slight sulfur taste. No hop aroma or taste. Typical Helles style lager Palate: Full and satisfying Overall: if you like beers that are not hop forward, golden color, easy drinking, with a great toasty taste, this beer is for you. A great summer, BBQ, or beach beer, especially for those who do no like hoppy beers. Far superior to the Macro Brewery version of a lager.

Can, deep gold with a fast-settling head, a bit of sweetcorn on the nose, sweetish malt, more DMS and a distant hoppiness. OK but a bit dull.

Rated on 7-10-2016 (Canned on 05/26/16) The appearance is a small very fizzy white head that quickly dissipated, transparent yellow golden body, very fizzy, lively, fast rising carbonation, and no lacing. The aroma presents citrus hops, fruity, sweet, grassy, floral, and malt. The flavor presents light bitterness, citrus hops, lightly grassy, fruity, sweet, and malt. The mouthfeel of this beer is oily and moderate carbonation. This is a light bodied beer. This beer is nothing all that special. It is very boring to drink/rate as the taste is not all that tasty for me. This beer for me is easily forgettable. Next!!

Gold with a white head. Nice light hops and round toasted malts. Crisp and clean end. Tasty and well Brewer. A good brew for the warm Hawaii afternoons.

Hawaiian pale lager loosely situated in the Mnchener Helles style, from a can bought at De Caigny in Essen. Medium thick, lightly lacing, egg-white, moussy head on top of a warm yellowish golden coloured beer clouded with a haze of tiny yeast bits throughout. Aroma of sweetbread, breakfast cereals, damp cloth, field flowers (buttercups), freshly cut grass, white bread dough, green apple peel. Fairly neutral onset, no esters as expected from a lager, bit minerally, quickly shifting to malt sweetness, grainy and a tad bready, no metallic effects, softish carbo and smooth, even slightly creamy body; well-dosed floral hop bitterishness in the finish, soft and gentle with a grassy accent; malt sweetness prevails, though, as defines this particular classic lager style. In all: nothing unpleasant here, simple and straightforward but quenching and feeling genuine, with a balance of malt sweetness and soft floral hoppiness that equals that of the classic Bavarian Mnchener Helles examples.
