Toasty malt aroma coupled with chocolate and coffee notes. Alcohol is also strongly picked up. Brown/Black in color.... much like the oil in my truck. Head is frothy and tan, settling fairly quickly after poured. Taste is a well-balanced bittersweet. As the glass empties, I pick up on the advertised coconut more and more. Proves to be medium-bodied porter with an oily texture. Carbonation is soft. The finish is where this brew really makes its money... The most unique finish I have ever experienced in a porter. Long and bitter with a peculiar "freshness" that is hard to describe. Might be the water they use to brew with over there in Hawaii... don’t know. Never been there. But I like it. This is a top-notch porter that I’ll probably want whenever I see it.
Pint glass as the consumption vessel at Pizza Luce Richfield. Cloudy, almost nitro looking appearance. Looks like a glass of chocolate milk. Nose comes to life slowly as it warms up. Chocolate, roasted malt, mild coconut if you really search for it. Great smooth and soft mouthfeel with a finish that lingers like you just had a glass of iced coffee. Taste brings roasty notes to the table as you would expect. Chocolate and coffee notes present. Hints of coconut make their presence felt with time to breathe. Overall a very solid porter. I would order again. Andrew196 (2039) - Katy, Texas, USA - JAN 12, 2018
Pours a dark brown, thin ivory, almost beige head. Nose is heavy coffee roast, very bold, wood, almost char. Lots of coffee in this guy, nutty edges, a hair thin but the flavor kick makes up for it. Got some chocolate, didn't get the coconut really. r464 (2377) - Earth, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 10, 2018
Dark with a huge foamy tan brown head. Roasty, smooth, malty with a dose of caramel and chocolate. Some toasted coconut and coffee. A bit creamy but not thick. Buzzinbeas83 (16) - Paramount, California, USA - DEC 30, 2017
Goes down easy, can’t say I taste much coconut. Nice Toasted flavors though and good creamy body.

Dark black porter with small white head. Lovely sweet smell. Bitter coffee and toasted coconut flavours. How's porter should taste. Luvystypotables (2099) - Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA - DEC 13, 2017

12oz can, Total Wine SDL. Dark brown with a frothy beige head and some lacing. Cocoa, toasted coconut, roasted notes, picks up some hops in the middle. Medium body. Coconut and milk chocolate finish. Nice. colui72 (1157) - HONG KONG - DEC 6, 2017
Pours black, with a beautiful creamy tan head and some spotty lacing. Roasted aroma, with mild notes of coffee and chocolate. Mildly bitter, with an awesome mouthfeel, smooth and creamy, roasted malts, coffee, milk chocolate and coconut, mild and not overwhelming like in other coconut beers. Very nice, the only problem is that... it's too easy to drink and I only had one can!
