COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Coconut Porter is a classic robust porter spiced with all natural toasted coconut. It is black in color and crowned with a creamy, dark tan head. It begins with a malty-toasted-coconut aroma followed by a rich, silky mouthfeel with tastes of dark malt, chocolate, and hints of coffee. It then finishes with flavors of toasted coconut and hoppy spice to balance the finish.

This is the first coconut porter that I have had and I am definitely interested in trying another. This beer caught my eye and was recommended by a friend. It had a definite coconut taste, but not overpowering. It had a slight coconut aroma, but as many stouts, it has a slight coffee/chocolate taste.

12 oz can. $4.00/ can? Pours pitch black with dark ruby highlights and a beige head with very hood retention. Good lacing. Strong coconut nose. Taste is a good mix of coconut and dark charred malts and a touch of coffee. Not too sweet. Smooth, creamy and flat mouthfeel. Would be better without coffee notes.

12oz can pours out a dark brown topped with a tan head. Nose is big toasted coconut chocolate sweetness and some roast. Taste is more of the big toasted coconut chocolate sweetness and some light roast.

Dark brown colour with big beige head on top. Aroma has roasted malts, dark chocolate, cocoa, coconut on the background. Taste is dry with roasted malts, cocoa beans, dark chocolate and slight coconut. Surprisingly nice texture for 6%, low carbonation makes up for it.

12 ounce can into pint glass, canned on 4/24/2017. Pours crystal clear very dark brown color with a 2 finger dense and rocky khaki head with great retention, that reduces to a large cap that lasts. Nice soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big milk chocolate, cocoa, caramel, brown sugar, toasted coconut, vanilla, brown bread, light coffee/cream/herbal, and roast/toasted earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of dark/roast/bready malt and coconut notes; with great strength. Taste of big milk chocolate, cocoa, caramel, brown sugar, toasted coconut, vanilla, brown bread, light coffee/cream/herbal, and roast/toasted earthiness. Light herbal hop and roast bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of milk chocolate, cocoa, caramel, brown sugar, toasted coconut, vanilla, brown bread, light coffee/cream, herbal, and roast/toasted earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready malt and coconut flavors; with an awesome roast/hop bitter/sweet balance, and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Slight dryness from hop/roast bitterness, lightly increasing through the glass. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/silky, and slightly sticky/chalky mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 6%. Overall this is an awesome flavored American porter! All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready malt and coconut flavors; very smooth, easy, and pretty refreshing to drink. Really impressive richness and complexity for the 6%; great balance of coconut flavors, without feeling artificial. A really enjoyable and delicious offering.

Piana drobna trwała, opadajac troche się strzępi. Kolor czarny. Aromat słodki, czekolada, kakao, karmel, suszone owoce, figi, rodzynki, lekko metalicznie chmiel, kokosa nie czułem. Smak palonośc, kakao, czekolada, suszone owoce, lekko popiół, bez kokosa. Średnia pełnia, dość lekkie w odbiorze. Bardzo dobre solidne bez zachwytów.

Dark brown. Some coconut but not nearly enough given how many times the can says coconut. Dry. Ok.

2017/05/21 - Pours dark cola brown with a foamy, khaki coloured head that quickly reduces and leaves moderate lacing. Aroma is chocolate, roasted coffee, nutty notes, light coconut and toasted bread. Taste follows nose; cocoa, toasted bread, roasted coffee, hints of coconut and light smokiness. Mouthfeel is light to medium and slightly watery with soft carbonation and a roasted, bittersweet finish. Smooth. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a deep brown to black with a light brown head head. Aromas of coffee and coconut with some chocolate. Taste the same with a little sweetness from the malt. Light to medium mouth feel with no lacing in the glass. Light smokiness in the finish. Nice example of a porter.

Dark oily pour. Aroma is more coffee than coconut, but both are there. Rich, thick toffee flavor. This would be rated higher if the coconut was more pronounced.
