Our Coconut Porter is a classic robust porter spiced with all natural toasted coconut. It is black in color and crowned with a creamy, dark tan head. It begins with a malty-toasted-coconut aroma followed by a rich, silky mouthfeel with tastes of dark malt, chocolate, and hints of coffee. It then finishes with flavors of toasted coconut and hoppy spice to balance the finish.

12 oz can. Pours a dark black with pillowy tan head. Aroma of cocoa, coffee, peat, toasted coconut. Flavor is coffee, cocoa, spice, toasted coconut, peat. A fine porter with a great hawaiian twist.

Dark brown. Some coconut but not nearly enough given how many times the can says coconut. Dry. Ok.

2017/05/21 - Pours dark cola brown with a foamy, khaki coloured head that quickly reduces and leaves moderate lacing. Aroma is chocolate, roasted coffee, nutty notes, light coconut and toasted bread. Taste follows nose; cocoa, toasted bread, roasted coffee, hints of coconut and light smokiness. Mouthfeel is light to medium and slightly watery with soft carbonation and a roasted, bittersweet finish. Smooth. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a deep brown to black with a light brown head head. Aromas of coffee and coconut with some chocolate. Taste the same with a little sweetness from the malt. Light to medium mouth feel with no lacing in the glass. Light smokiness in the finish. Nice example of a porter.

Dark oily pour. Aroma is more coffee than coconut, but both are there. Rich, thick toffee flavor. This would be rated higher if the coconut was more pronounced.

12floz can ($1.50/unit, COD: 12.15.2016) poured into a nonic glass. It appears a very dark-brown with a light-brown head. Roasted malts and coconut in the nose translates to a true to form porter that also has notes of coconut. Slick feel goes with a medium-body, which all together is fairly good.

Malty, roasted, caramel, coconut, creamy. Prety dull, boring with quite accented coconut notes with in aroma and flavor. Nice brew, but its definitely notify style.

Can; pours nearly black with a beige head; aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, and coconut; taste is bittersweet with chocolate, roasted malt, coconut, and a hint of coffee; dry, light bitter finish with lingering chocolate and a hint of coconut

Ar: Coconut, cocoa powder, and lean, herbal hops; some toasted malt and dark caramel notes.Ap: Black and opaque; medium-large light mocha head with good retention, very fluffy in shape and leaving an airy cap of foam and big chunks of lacing along the glass sides. T: Sweet, rich coconut up front; metallic twang breaks through the richness, gives a tannic, semi-sour flavor; medium bitterness, with an astringent, herbal quality; some cocoa and caramel notes, though the metallic flavor dampens the richness of those flavors. P: Medium-full body with high carbonation; finish is medium-dry. O: The aroma, appearance, and initial flavors are really solid, but there is a mixture of metallic and tannic flavors that just cuts through and really obscures everything else.
