COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Double Overhead IPA is a fresh handcrafted double IPA featuring copious amounts of hops. Laden with hops from begining to end and not overly bitter, it’s hop aromas and flavours give hints of Guava, Passion Fruit, and orange spice which blend well with the silky malt flavours. "Big braddah to the Big Swell IPA"

Tap at Max’s. Pours clear golden fizzy off-white head. Aroma is grainy malts, light floral notes, faint citrus and tropical fruit notes, and faint candy sugar. Flavor is a smooth combination of cereal malts, floral hops, and tropical fruit esters with faint spice; flavorful finish with a touch of bitterness. Medium body and carbonation.

GABF 2013. Pours a hazy orange appearance with a khaki head. Garlic-y, onion, tropical fruity, mango, pineapple aroma. Flavor has a weirdly stale taste to it that honestly reminded me of a six month old can of Big Swell IPA that I opened recently. Some tropical fruits in the flavor but kind of strange and dull at the same time.

On tap at the Holy Grail. Pours an orange color with a white head. The aroma has a lot of tropical fruit. I get some mango, pineapple and grapefruit notes. The flavor is slightly different. I get some bitter orange and pine character, as well as some light resin notes. Medium bitterness. A very nice IPA.

Tap at holy grail. The smell is nice, pine, super hoppy, saturated, caramel, fruits, hops, and good. The look is clear, off white head, and orange color. The taste is hoppy, alcohol, pine, citrus, and good.

Approximately 3-4 oz sampler at the Brewpub in Lahaina, Maui. The pour is orange copper, mostly clear, with not much head. The aroma is tropical fruit, along with lightly toasted malt. The taste is sweet tropical fruit hop, malt sweetness, and a decent alcohol burn in the back. The palate is medium bodied, low carbonation level, dry hot finish. Pretty boozy.

On tap at the brewery, Aloha, bitches! pours a copper witha nice head, good lacing. Aroma is amazing lots of tropical notes, mango, melon, passion fruit, and hints of dank hops. Must have a healthy dose of citra? The waiter was clueless when I asked. Flavour is similar, really tropical and fruity, but finishes with a nice sticky lupelin bitterness, amazing! The 100 ibus is so smooth, and the alcohol not noticeable! Fantastic beer!

On tap @ Maui Brewing. Poured a cloudy apricot/orange into a pint glass with a pronounced white head. Floral hops and citrus aromas fill the nose. Piney hops and malt grab the palate’s attention and subtle citrus notes linger. The 100 IBU leave a memorable hopy bitterness in the mouth.

Orange pour, off white head. Great tropical fruit aromas with some citrus peel. Flavor is big and bold! Tropical fruit, guava, mango, tangerine, nice bitterness. Great!
