12-oz can. Pours a crystal clear medium amber with a loose white head and dense sheets of drippy lace. Nice big fresh mango and pineapple nose. Caramel under. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Caramel, toast, mango, pineapple, and pine on the mid palate. Clean, balanced, and refreshing, Nice IPA. Ratman197 (14830) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - JUN 22, 2011
Can poured a clear orange amber with a lasting amber head and good lacing. Aroma of biscuit, earthiness, pine and light citrus. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of biscuit, earthiness, pine and a hint of citrus with a smooth moderatly bitter finish. Zeswaft (1773) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JUN 19, 2011
Like most people have mentioned. It’s pretty herbal and grassy. It’s a decent IPA and drinkable. It little more full bodied than I’d like. BMan1113VR (7931) - Los Angeles, California, USA - JUN 13, 2011
Can. Pours with a clear gold to orange hued body and a massive off-white head. Tight bubble groupings, good retention and lace. Aroma is a bit malty at first, grainy, bready, caramel, toffee, a bit sticky. Lightly nutty Some light esters. Hop aromas come across as citrus and mango, fruit, light pine. Flavors of are malty, a bit nutty (husky), bready, medium bitter, followed by fruit and pine. Quite a different beer than the other Falconer’s Flight hopped beers that I have had (Kern’s 5th comes to mind). Much more earthy and woody than explosive citrus. A bit oily/slick on the palate (could even be diacetyl, but very minimal if any). Medium bodied with lively bubbles. Slightly warming.
Drinkable and not bad, but I was hopping for a bit more. Not sure what to do with the other 5 cans. brokensail (16449) - Dublin, California, USA - JUN 11, 2011
A: The beer pours amber in color with a white head.
S: Caramel and grass are the most prominent aromas. Some citrus peel along with some toffee and brown sugar. There are off-putting earthy and tea aromas to this as well.
T: The flavor isn’t much good either. Sweet malts, bread, and toffee make up the bulk of the flavor. Decently bitter with some grassy hops. Not much in the way of what I look for in an IPA.
M: Medium in both body and carbonation.
O: Just generally off-putting. I don’t care to have this again.

Can from Malt & Vine. Pours light amber witha creamy/foamy beige head. Aromas of lightly roast malt and slightly cooked light stone fruit. Flavor is a bit earthy - seems to be the signature for this hop. It’s also floral, and develops a bit of grapefruit rind with a little time. Just finished an aged can of Furious, and this is similar, except lots fresher. I really like the slight complexity of this hop, so my rating is likely going to be above average. Which is appropriate for me. :) riversideAK (6261) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - JUN 4, 2011
10th fucking rating. Lock this mother fucker up in the hole ho. Nose of biscuit, caramel, and some iced tea. Not much in the way of hops except some floral notes, light fruityiness. Thats about it. FUck spelling and capitals and what have you. Pours amber with some golde, big bubbled frothy head and lace. The flavor is more toast and biscuit, caramel, light listron iced tea. Hop notes are floral, lightly fruity and with a hint of grapefruit. Too much malt to showcase the hops. Not bad, well done in terms of no problems, just not my fucking thing. Sasquatch Beer Fest. Straw yellow pour, fluffy white head but slight lacing. Earthen hops, biscuit and light caramel malts dominate. Far too malt forward for me and a huge disappointment since I’ve enjoyed most of this brewery’s beers up to this point. boFNjackson (4201) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JUN 1, 2011
Can... Poured golden/amber with an off-white head. A pretty subdued IPA. Biscuity malt tones, earthy hop flavors that were quite resinous. Overall a very malt forward IPA. 5000 (6862) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - MAY 28, 2011
Can:   Fiery amber, clear, large fluffy white head, nice lacing.   Strong grainy aroma.   Hops are secondary.   Smooth on the tongue, very grainy tho.   Not so hoppy, at least as much as I thought an IPA should be.   Yeah, has this soily, earthy, and grainy flavor that just.... well... sucks.   Seems more of a Pale Ale than an IPA given that the hops are weak.   It also seems like some think that soil, dirt, earth, and graininess make up a good IPA.   Not me...   Not my kind of IPA.
