Medium brown with a tan head. Slight noble hop aroma. Nutty malt flavors on the palate with a hint of chocolate. Hop bitterness perfect for the American brown ale style. Well done kidmartinek (5007) - austin, Texas, USA - DEC 30, 2016

Tap at Rocks&Brews, Paia, Maui.
Pours dark brown with a little red. Medium light beige head. Aroma is cyrup and sweet dark malts, very close to Finnish "kotikalja". Appearance is pretty thick and dense. Taste doesn’t quite meet the excpectations raised by the aroma and appearance. Palate is surprisingly thin and watery. JDBaker11058 (2351) - Maryland, USA - SEP 8, 2015
appearance: dark brown with ruby highlights, thick light tan head shrinking to a soapy cap; generous lacing. aroma: fulsome nose of toffee, dark chocolate, espresso, roasted hazelnuts, and vanilla. taste: brown bread, toasted hazelnuts, caramel, toffee, milk chocolate, leather, vanilla, earth, grass, some coconut milk. finish: cream and smooth and toasty, with a lasting nutty, chocolate sweetness. notes: Man, this was a superb brown ale. It’s on the sweeter end, and is almost big enough to feel like a porter. Would drink this any time. Can from TW&M Alexandria, Virginia.

Pint on tap at Beer Revolution in Edmonton pours amber in color with a small off-white head that leaves some spots of lacing behind. Aroma is roasted grains and citrus hop bitterness with a chocolate malty sweetness. Light to medium bodied with decent carbonation. Nicely done brown ale.
