Canned (in 2013!). Nose is lemon and lemongrass, very clean and crisp citrus with floral undertones, and that Nelson, though faded, is still sublime. Pale yellow with strong carbonation and a noisy, fizzy, soapy bright white head. Tart and lightly acidic taste, low bitterness with faint rubber astringency in the finish, sweet but not to excess, coats with a chalky feel. Semi-soft medium body with touch of sour wheat, lightly herbal and very refreshing. slowrunner77 (11917) - Reno, Nevada, USA - SEP 11, 2014
"Well, Maui really knows how to make a summer refresher with local ingedients. And Lost Abbey, for all their issues, does farmhouse/saision pretty well, so this is a good fit. Light and refreshing yet complex aroma. Wheaty, a little light fruit, lemongrass, very subtle belgian spice. The flavor is really nice. Spot on. Finishes dry. Another I’ll get again."
