Can, Cave, Glasgow. Hazy yellow pour with a middling white head. Lemony nose with vague spice. Sweetish flavour with more lemon plus some grass, yeast and spice notes. Dryish finish with a little tartness. Drinkable but nowt special.

Can. Pours a clear straw yellow body under a small fizzy white head that faded fairly quickly. The nose is pretty heavy on the lemongrass, with some wheat, perfume hops, and bready malt. Not much in the way of yeast or earthiness, guess if the name didnt tip me off, the aroma sure does. This isnt my kind of Saison. The flavor is pretty well dominated by the lemongrass as well. Its just too clean and lacking in any interesting character from the yeast or malt. Just lots of clean bready malt and wheat with just a little hop flavor on the finish. A little to heavy and firm on the tongue with soft fizzy carbonation. Ive had a lot worse, but its just a crappy Saison.

Appearance: cloudy bright yellow color, nice white foamy head that is really dense Aroma: citrus, some funk, sour Taste: lemon, citrus, funkier smelling than it taste, sweetness, very appetizing Palette: bitter towards, lots of carbonation on tongue, very alive tasting Overall: the smell throws me off but the taste of this beer is quite nice ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

aroma - has that good saison yeasty, doughy smell. not overly pungent. light banana, almost starfruit. color - hazy & sparkling blonde, very minimal head taste - lightly sweet, not bitter or sour (but subtle citrus/grassy) palate - light body, soft carbonation, creamy, finishes quick w/ lemongrass notes I enjoyed this beer - a solid saison, but interesting with the lemongrass notes. would certainly buy more, though it didnt completely knock my socks off. Go C-Unit!

UPDATED: JAN 25, 2014 Appearance: beer pours a very hazy light yellow color, has lots of haze and chunks in it, head is tall but fluffy and shrinks fast Aroma: funky, lemon, bread, wild, very aromatic Taste: strong lemon, has a bit of wildness to it, some tart, slightly sour, also has a sweetness to it Palate: light body, high carbonation, minimal aftertaste Overall: this is a really good smelling and tasting beer, I like the low abv on a saison so you don’t get so much of the alcohol taste, you can smell this across the room ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Poured from can to glass. Hazy straw with white head. Aroma is acidic, funky, yeasty, sugar, esters, citrus, lemongrass, pepper. Mouthfeel is really nice with a light body and high carbonation. Taste is sweet with a slight astringent finish and CO2 sharpness. Overall, this is a bit too yeasty but all in all alright.

Can picked up at Bier Thirty in Bown last week sometime... Enjoyed tonight after a long day on the clock... Pours a slight hazy glowing straw golden... short lasting white head leaves decent lacing in the wake. Aromas are pretty traditional Belgian spicy phenols and some expected lemongrass... some bready pale maltiness... Flavor pretty much mirrors the nose perfectly... perhaps a bit too much residual maltiness IMO, but it isnt a deal breaker.. lemongrass/citrus zest lingers long on the finish. Body seems heavy for a 5% saison, but a good carbonation helps scrub the palate... pretty drinkable despite being a bit burpy. Good beer... Not sure I would buy it again, but it is always cool to find a saison in a can.

Partially cloudy straw colored beer with a fizzy white head that disappears quickly. Somewhat sweet nose of white sugar, lemon, and herbs. Taste is definitely sweet up front followed some citrus and sweeter fruits (mango?), topped off by a bit of spice. With perky carbonation, this is a refreshing beer and paired well with the spicy curry I was eating, but its not something I would drink on its own due to the unbalanced sweetness.
