Can at Antenna America, Yokohama - RBJG#2. Clear yellow - white head. Fruity, pineapple, lemon, hoppy, light malty, toasted, papaya, a light but pleasant beer. thome50 (1295) - Morro Bay via Orange County, California, USA - APR 23, 2013
Can. Pours a slightly hazy golden with big white head. Aroma is DFH IPA, slight tropical fruit. Fresh papaya is there but then the rancid garbage papaya sneaks in and takes the cake as the beer warms. This is an example of what BMC tries to do. This beer at first was awesome, cold out of the fridge. As it warms.....eeeek. The taste is tropical fruit forward at first, when cold and some mild bread. As it warms the DFH malt bill comes out and is very pronounced from their IPA line. I guess that is the yeast. egajdzis (6561) - Pennsburg, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 21, 2013
[Canned 12/31/12] Hazy orange color with a small, off white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, toast, tropical fruits, some oxidation. Taste of citrus, toast, orange, tropical fruits, and a semi-sweet finish. Oxidation was surprising given the age. Drake (13726) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - APR 21, 2013
Can from Wine Warehouse Charlottesville. Pours a clear golden amber color with fine and sparse floating particles. Medium sized creamy tan head. Breadfruit is indeed an apt name. Aroma of bready, nutty notes with tropical and mild sugared fruits. Faint hoppy finish. The taste is earth notes, caramel, bread, stone fruits and a nearly salty note. Medium bodied. I quite like this. oRos (1675) - sacramento, California, USA - APR 20, 2013

12 oz can. Pours a hazy golden orange with a big meringue white head that retains well and laces the glass.douglas88 (9176) - Portland, Oregon, USA - APR 15, 2013
The aroma is wit-like with some tropical fruit and funky yeast and pepper.
The flavor is earthy yeast with light tropical fruits and some peppery spices. There’s some phenolic bitterness in the finish. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with slightly sharp carbonation.
Overall, it’s more yeasty than fruity but a bit phenolic.
Can thanks to the Boise crew! Pours a clear golden color with a medium white head. A sweet fruity nose, very tropical. A earthy yeasty flavor with big tropical fruit, very juicy at times. Really though a malt forward brew, earthy. Good. Sledutah (7526) - Utah, USA - APR 14, 2013
